Anyone using a freqout with synth fx/euro?
Yes.
Using it with a self oscillating Erbe-Verb is absolute bliss.

Re: Strymon NightSky

I'd have to say this is definitely not the only "thing" to give Meris. They make fantastic pedals. I assumed that was already understood, and didn't need to be said. I regard the Strymon/Meris lineage as the absolute best in the FX world. The Ottobit, Polymoon, DIG, Big Sky and Deco are perfection ...

Re: Eventide's Blackhole Pedal

Nothing at all going on in that R&D department anymore, eh? Why anyone wouldn't just save for a used Space is beyond me. It's this... and SO MUCH MORE. I'm a Space and H9 Max owner for what its worth. The Space is very large, has a weird power requirement and the knobs aren't very intuitive for the...

Re: Strymon NightSky

The one thing you have to give Meris since splitting from Strymon is that at least they provide the chance to have even 4 presets available on their pedals. Enough with these incredible and deep effect pedals without being able to save a few presets. There are still instances where live gigs have to...

Re: W...T...F...BARP 2500?

Out of all the Behringer shit released: this is the first one that sat me up like I was zapped with 120 volts. There's nothing boring about any sort of 2500 based product. Although I agree with people above - this won't be easy at all.

I'm still really excited about it as the day I posted it; technically more so but still on the fence - wanting to jump off onto their side so badly.... however, I (and I imagine 90% of those that end up ordering one...

Loved the Meatbox.... was a "can't live without" indispensible secret weapon until the Mantic Hulk came along the way. The Hulk is the Meatbox perfected. It's not as cheap, but the clarity of tone!

Re: Re:

The Korg - Wavestate just threw it's hat into the ring. The no user up-loadable sample memory sorta sucks. It's a blessing in disguise that it can't import samples truthfully - it would make it a different beast. Not sure if you ever sculpted performance patches on a Wavestation EX/AD before - but ...

Re: Arp 2500 vs 2600

Phil's work is beyond exceptional when it comes to his expertise and workmanship. Korg may own the name and be putting out 2600's, but if ARP is still alive today - it lives in Phil Cirocco. His 6U rack mount blend of the 2600 with elements from the 2500 is remarkable too. I have experience with the...

I copied this from another thread: That post was perfectly articulated regarding the core differences between the 2500 and the 2600. They really are very different instruments, using very different builds and components. The 2500 was born under very different intentions and goals than the 2600. Mas...

Word is that's the forthcoming mini 2600 Any word on differences besides size? Absolutely any? Looks like all sliders, knobs and switches (all controls) are the same as far as I can tell in the slightly blurry mini pic from GC... As far as I know the FS is thru hole tho? That’s extremely appealing ...

we actually bought one for our studio because we feel it sounds quite different from our beloved vintage arp 2600s. mini In what manner would you say? From all the videos, I feel it doesn't have the wholly/fuzziness of the grey meanie, but it has more sizzle and presence than the old grey. Otherwis...

Knowing Korg and how they have been with past "vintage reissues" (MS-20, Odyssey) and even with the " - logues" (Minilogue, Mono, Pro (2 versions), MiniXD, XD desktop) - I would bet that this full size 2600 will absolutely be a very limited one time only run, and that a smaller format 2600 without i...

Very nice. Seems to be a direct competitor to the Sequential Prophet X. I'll be interested to try one out when they hit the stores. Re: Korg Wavestate

I agree. There's no need on a wavestation. Besides, to have an analog filter per-voice with 64 poly it would need as many filters, plus D/A & A/D conversion before and after every filter...even with SMD it might not fit in there. Yes, exactly why I am happy they did not, because then it would have ...

Re: Korg Wavestate

I have been dreaming of this for seriously a decade... never did I expect it to actually happen and become a reality, especially in the era of 'analogue overload.' Thank you Korg for not putting an analogue filter on this. However, the 37 key form factor lacking aftertouch - on synth like this is un...
