Re: Mutable Instruments Veils 2020 leak
my analog craftsman 2600 filter had center detents on some of the sliders, they're out there, maybe just not as easy to source I know about the existence of such parts, but they don't solve any problem, since they lock at either 49%, 51% or anything in-between depending on how fast, and from which ...

Re: Mutable Instruments Veils 2020 leak
if a 2020 Blinds came out like this in 10hp, that could interest me... She confirmed on Instagram that this won’t happen because it’s easier to find the middle position on a knob than a slider and that’s important for Blinds. my analog craftsman 2600 filter had center detents on some of the sliders...

Re: FIL3 Help
i dont think of it as a filter at all (in the traditional sense), the drive and distortion characteristics are what sold me on it and the most iinteresting behaviours come from cross patchinig HP and LP sections. if u want "normal" LP behaviour you're better off with a "normal" filter cos this aint ...

how prohibitive is the cost of design and manufacture - it'd basically be a powdrecoated aluminum rectangle box right? not a huge engineering issue surely. (?) and then there's any # of rails that could be factored in, (elby do good/cheapish rails with end plates etc, just a thought

Re: Using Eurorack to make a crunchy hardcore-ish guitar sound
dont forget about string noise, the high pitched swipey sounds that present when a palm mute breaks the sustain and provides space... those transients get amplified by distortion too and make up a significant part of the sound ur trying to emulate. without these subtle details considered you'll fore...

Re: What’s the deal with all the resonance?
i have more distortions in my cases than filters, i love low freq cut-off Q wth as much res as it can handle before self-oscillation. i am also a metalhead. from my perspective ppl dont use enough res/grrr. YMMV :miley: id focus more on doing your own thing that and kind of memetc group think, there...

Re: Did your Modular Grid go as planned?
i came into euro after years of 5U , ModularGrid was instrumental (hawhaw) in helping me diagnose my needs for the new format cos i literally had no idea about anything other than 'PMed for maths'... now 6months after beginning i have a healthy system going on and can say most of the modules i ended...

VCO maximus black panel
hey hey! i aboslutely love my maximus, i would really love to have a black panel made for it. its the only non-black module in my main system, i know this is a bit pedantic, but its starting to irk me lol. so thought id ask here - is there anyway to obtain the CAD or PDF artwork file for this module...

ive been out of modular since 2015ish, the levy finally broke and i started filling out a 104hp skiff plan a few wks ago. i had 66U of 5U in the end last time til i had to do a big sell off before moving country - I only really knew 5U but decided to try the other side of the fence this time. its we...

CEM33XX based module Questions + looking for a builder?
2 questions... i know there's a Grove Audio vid on youtube, but wondering if anyone has had success (or can point me in the direction of) info pertaining to the building of an ADSR based EG using a CEM3310 IC. My end-game is to have 2 of these as EGs in a 5U format 2osc skiff - as an approximation o...
