You will find electronic music, ambient, indie folk, post-rock, glitchhop, neoclassical tracks... The compilation features 3 tracks I did on various aliases : https://arbousereco...

Re: Korg Mono/Poly Filter pedal (MS-01 alternative)

The DOD FX17 : I didn't know that pedal, thank you.

I also found a video of a guy showing the clone he built. It's a very easy circuit from what it seems (the biggest challenge being finding an enclosure shell).

Korg Mono/Poly Filter pedal (MS-01 alternative)

Hello, I am looking for an alternative (or a clone, or a DIY project) for the Korg MS-01 , which is a pedal sending voltage to the filter input of the Korg Mono/poly (and should work for the rest of the MS series : MS20, etc. As well as the Korg Delta and others). I am pretty sure such a thing exist...

Re: Yamaha CS10 sub-osc

Sorry for the late reply (for some reason, Muff doesn't send me notifications any more since a couple months). Since MW was migrated to the new forum software, you might want ot re-visit your notification settings. They may not have pulled through the transition the same as before. Could it be as s...

Re: Yamaha CS10 sub-osc

I just noticed a mistake in the 4th row :the resistor should be 4.7K (and not 47K).
I will update the layout once the veroboard will be installed in the synth and working fine.

Re: Yamaha CS10 sub-osc

Hi, Sorry for the late reply (for some reason, Muff doesn't send me notifications any more since a couple months). Are you doing any of the other mods while you are at it? Well, I already made a couple mods two years ago : The output mod and the resonance mod. - Imho, the output mod is mandatory. Wi...

I should be building it in a couple days.

Yamaha CS10 sub-osc

Hello,
The Yamaha CS10 is a nice little single oscillator synth.
Yusynth has several mods for it on his website, and i have converted his sub-osc mod schematic into a veroboard layout. I am sharing it, if anyone is interested :

Re: Harmonic Filtering software?

ToneBooster FLX has some nice "harmonics" eq shapes, which you may enjoy. Also, the Buss compressor from the same developer features this (treating noise and harmonics separately), but i never really occured to need this, so i can't comment if it woud fit your needs. https://www.kvraudio.com/product...

Re: Is the Alpha Juno 2 really that tedious to program without the PG-300?

The Alpha Juno is a well designed synth, and not so tedious to program. Of course, it is better with a knobby programmer, but the big jogwheel is clever, and many "most used" parameters do not require menu-diving. On the other hand, if the sound is obviously Juno-Style, the filter is weaker than on ...

ABleton's own Beat Repeat is already good, isn't it ? Else, you can give Audio Damage Replicant a try, or Dblue Glitch2 , both are awesome. Also, Dsches Tantra is an amazing multi-Fx with a glitch module and some powerful modulation system using step sequencers. If none of them fit your needs, you c...

The first minute of this video is quite embarassing... it looks like a cheap pathetic tv joke from the 90s :zombie:
I think Behringer advertising/creative/marketting office doesn't get more money than the R&D office... it's got to be cheap, so you get what you (don't) pay for... :ripbanana:

Thank you for your reply, DeAnimator ! well the circuit schematic is basically identical to a 1970's minimoog. Yes, this is what i had read a couple times... But i wasn't sure how accurate that statement could be. Does that mean that we can replace a russian transistor or opamp with the one from the...

The A4 is an excellent bass synth imho. Also, I very much suspect that the MC202 was a huge inspiration for it : similar (while upgraded !) groovebox concept, very same size factor, and... on a side by side comparison, the A4 can sound identical to the A4. The MC202 is a very nice synth : few featur...
