I didn't realise Yarns was available for Serge.. or do I misunderstand?
I´ve seen pictures of DIY builds around . PCBs are available.

In case of Kenton, it can be used with adaptor cables or maybe converted to 4U.

Re: Serge Midi

I don´t know if i go Kenton or Yarns for Serge? i see Kenton more solid, but Yarns more multifunctional, the thing is i´m not sure i´m going to be using all the Yarns functions in a Serge enviorment. Is there something special about Yarns that has to be considered for the Serge users? Thanks in adva...

Re: R*S Serge DUSG XL - Peak and Trough

I made 3 videos showing the shaping capabilities of the DUSG XL Peak & Trough, no much explanation but you can see the action in my old and a bit unstable scope . I used only the DUSG XL for the first two videos. Also a drum sequencer patch using the DUSG XL + P&T as main beat generator. Peak: http:...

Re: New Random*Source Serge oscillator?

i´m getting very excited with this module ( the Peak and Trough module specifically) . After playing hours with the DUSG XL ´s P&T at audiorates, i believe this module (placed together with the NTO ) is a drone monster machine. And if you add a DUSG XL it will be even better. The simple reason: 3 x ...

Re: Mungo Enterprises d0, dual channel Delay

Is this still the best module for tuned delay / Karplus Strong in eurorack? It's pricey, it's not easy to obtain and it's inventor is a dick but yes, it's still unbeaten if you want to do K+ stuff pricey compared to what? there are several, much more expensive delay modules out there. Not easy to o...

Not sure which circuit was used for the switch columns, but i think it´s one of his own.
The full/pulse mix switches are part of the CGS89 design from Ken Stone: https://sdiy.info/wiki/CGS_gate_sequencer

Re: Serge gate sequencer - patch suggestions

I¨ve been doing some proto testing with Metasonix 4u modules and I used my Scrotum Lab Serge Sequencer mclass panel which i find awesome and lots of fun. So even if this is more of a metasonix video, it shows the SCROLAB Gate Sequencer altering it´s own clock by patching one of it´s adjustable pulse...

The Peak and Trough on the DUSG XL works great with the sections as oscillators. I think the second CV input is there for feedback patches.

Re: Metasonix RS/Serge modules

at the end did you make the 4u power supply?

mine works great, you only need to ground one module with the serge psu and not always, it depends , it´s noisy anyway.
the serge nto output is great for tuning the rk7s and rk4. I wish i had two rk1s in my rig.
