Re: Klangbau Köln Logistische Gleichung - any experiene ?

Nice! I have got their trigger delay as a separate module. It’s really useful together with the digital LogFn for feedback though, so a combo module makes sense.

Re: interesting modern digital synths?

How about the Gotharman Tiny LD (Little deFormer). Crazy deep digital synthesis, weird FX, analog filter options, etc. There’s a secondhand one available for under 1000€ here in the BST forum :) No keyboard though, but the upside would be that it’s super portable, so you can tweak sounds on the couc...

Yes, something is wrong then. But maybe it’s just the plastic knob cap that is loose? You can tighten it with a small screw driver I think.

Thank you very much for your great videos! I really enjoy them!
Thanks! Great that you're back again 8-)

Here's a different kind of jam session. Calm and spacey ambient music, with some delays and reverb from the Ocean Machine.

Here a demo preset i made for who ask more sound and demo ;) Fantastic! I was surprised and had to laugh at the beginning when you say "That's how it sounds" and then we hear the fattest percussion ever :sb: Loving the jam from 6:50 onwards too  Well done!!! Re: Flame Mäander new Wavetable Desktop Synthesizer w Filterbank

Alright, after a short YouTube break, I'm back with my promised Mäander workflow video. Starting with an initialized patch, I'm showing the step sequencer, bar chaining, MIDI looping and the arpeggiator to demonstrate a live-friendly way of working with the Mäander: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P...

Re: Gotharman's SpazeDrum

Here’s a first little video jam, with an analog preset I made over the weekend. I wanted to explore “normal” bongo, clap and snare synthesis mostly, so it’s not “Gotharman crazy” yet, but I think we all know that this wouldn’t be difficult to achieve with the SpazeDrum ;) https://www.youtube.com/wat...

Re: Gotharman's SpazeDrum

I really enjoy camping with one dedicated piece of music gear. One gets to know it really well after a few days of focused play. Of course I also always have the iPad, but I like a distraction free hardware instrument more. Regarding safety, so far I always locked the gear in the car under a bunch o...

Re: Gotharman's SpazeDrum

Here’s my trusty outdoor music gear by the way. We’re camping again this weekend and of course the SpazeDrum had to come with us ;) I’m powering it with a Harley Benton 9V/USB power bank and I’ve got a pair of decent Shure in-ear headphones. The four segment solar panel charges the power bank via US...

Re: Gotharman's SpazeDrum

Another thing I’m very happy about is that the envelopes for the analog oscillators seem nicely snappy, especially for pitch modulation I‘ve been doing some more testing today and while the analog pitch mod works great with the linear ENV1, I did find that I would actually like some more envelope s...

Re: Gotharman's SpazeDrum

I'm still mainly exploring the analog oscillators and the sequencer, plus I've started to experiment with the morphing features, which are really cool. Oh yes, I’m mostly playing with the analog oscillators as well. Often I even forget that there is another digital oscillators on top and that there...

Re: Gotharman's SpazeDrum

How’s everyone doing with their SpazeDrums? I’ve realized for example that I tend to use G-Ray a lot more than on the LD3, where it was often too crazy for me :D For drums however, I really like what it can add to the sound and I have to revisit it on the LD3 again, I think. Another thing I’m very h...

Re: Gotharman's SpazeDrum

I was playing around with sequence morphing and realized that I never really had the need to fully understand it on my LD3. For working with the SpazeDrum however, I thought it might be nice to know exactly how the sequences are morphed under the hood, to be able to create more deliberate and rhythm...

Re: Gotharman's SpazeDrum

Received my SpazeDrum on Monday and played with it last night for the first time. I’m happy to report that I do not miss the touchscreen from the LD3 so far, in case anybody was wondering about that too. The function buttons to jump into menus and the quick left/right navigation work great for me. I...

Re: Gotharman's SpazeDrum

Cool! Read through the manual sections that were new to me, as a LD3 owner, and it seems nicely focused on the drums, while still keeping some cool features from the deFormer (sampling, sequencing, effects and modulation).

Anyone have one that lives in the US? I've bought one, but need to find the right power plug for it, as the one I got comes with a EU plug.
Which instrument do you have? This thread discusses all of the LepLoops.

Their PSUs are mostly 12V with center positive barrel plugs though, I think.

Great range of sounds in that demo! It can really be hard and heavy, but delicate as well. Seems very unique and versatile and, as I posted in the comments, it also sounds very fresh. Looking forward to see and hear more :)

Any other module/synth that can be compared to it? I'd like to check other options. I'm loving what I'm hearing. Thanks for these demos flx! Thank you! There are definitely a bunch of wavetable synths/VCOs, but the sequenceable filterbank seems quite unique. You can just get the filterbank alone as...

Re: Flame Mäander new Wavetable Desktop Synthesizer w Filterbank

Yeah, you could also just sequence the Curves via its MIDI input or play the internal sequences. The Mäander is definitely nice as a standalone device though and certainly feature rich.
