Re: Klavis - CalTrans
Thank you so much for the feedback. I am strongly considering it. I would be using it with my uTune which also has VCO offset/calibration feature but it's not that easy changing octaves/semitones with it. Hmmm... I'd be a bit cautious with having two tuner/calibrators. What I didn't mention was tha...

Re: Klavis - CalTrans
Can the Caltrans be used as a voltage source or adder? As I can understand output 1 is normalled to the rest, so a mult in a way?
Asking because I currently have the chalkboard and I am not really using it due to it not being precise enough, maybe I have high expectations.

Re: New to uTune + Expander, how many configurable CV outs?
cool! have fun! I mean Tub :)!! By the way Tobias, do you know if and when a low cost expander with less precision will be available? You know, one for CV only duties (not for oscillators) I think I saw this somewhere. I am a bit limited in terms of space in my rack, so just wondering if this is so...

Not pretty but very cool when you need to mess around with modules in your case or calibrate

Re: anyone good with digitakt mac setup?
Yeah, I completely understand. It's a great machine, I hope you will be happy with it after a while even with the troubles you had in the start. Maybe the transfer thing will work now after you did the update. I have a USB1 connection in my Lenovo W530, I tend to use that when updating and it seems ...

Re: anyone good with digitakt mac setup?
Did you get it working with C6 and DIN midi?
It would work, it's just to make it simple and it might be that there is something finicky about those USB drivers, Apple is know for these sorts of things.

Re: anyone good with digitakt mac setup?
One question, can you even see the digitakt in the transfer app? and you have it selected? I assume so but good to ask anyway
And I also assume you are not using a usb hub?

Re: anyone good with digitakt mac setup?
I believe you can use the C6 for that as well. It is the old version of Transfer. But try doing the update first with C6 and DIN midi and then see if it works afterwards with USB and Transfer. I have experienced some weird stuff with Elektron in the 14-15 years I have been using their products, but ...

Re: anyone good with digitakt mac setup?
Hey, please try this Firstly disable Overbridge when updating from within the OS might help. Also maybe try using another USB cable. And if you havent rebooted your mac, just give that a go first. Elektron_C6_MAC_AND_WIN_1.51.zip Use the OS upgrade function first and if it doesnt work use the boot m...

Re: anyone good with digitakt mac setup?
Works fine here on my PC, however, if it fails a restart is always necessary. In some occasions it will be necessary to hold shift/Function at startup to enter the boot menu, from there you should also be able to do the update. It might be that your firmware is completely old or wack. In that case i...

Re: Arturia rackbrute cases
The problem you will be facing is probably not with the power it self but with grounding. The ground usually have to be thicker. Anyways, here is a picture of what I have put together after downsizing my big euro system. Kind of simple and much less functionality than before, however I think it look...

Re: New to uTune + Expander, how many configurable CV outs?
Ah I see, so each channel has fixed CC. Sure thing. I was worried I would not be able to set this up. Yeah would be nice to have it configurable. But I also understand that its a lot of work on your part- This will work for now I think. I actually ordered the blue expander from Schneiders as I saw y...

Re: Favorite 4HP envelope generator?
Wow i didnt know about this one, seems very useful and actually feature packed, how is the response curve? I am guessing it's all digital. Yeah, you can see in the pictures that it's just an Arduino Nano with an ADC + op-amp. The controls look dense though, never seen anyone lift buttons on top of ...

Re: Expert Sleepers Disting Mk4
There are cheat sheets available and I find them super useful. Disting is complicated to use because it can do so much.
That is also something to think about when people keep asking for more features constantly.
