Re: Modcan Touch sequencer thoughts

Some updates are warranted. First things first, I didn't find this thread in July but I did find it yesterday, so it's worth knowing that I'm far from being the only person with screen issues. Help Modcan Touch Sequencer display crash It seems the TS is susceptible to heat problems, depending on pla...

Re: MakeNoise Morphagene

An important design element of most MN moduled is the addition of attenuverters and offsets on the panel. Helps a lot with modulation, regardless of source. That being said I love using my ADDAC306 with both Morphagene and QPAS.

This thread has served its purpose and since some members either can't stop fanning the flames or can't control themselves from reading too much into things, the thread is getting locked. Congratulations.

Re: Befaco VCMC voltage controlled MIDI controller

My only issue with v1.2 is that I now have to mod the code (via github) in order to get my screen to be positioned correctly. There's an angle issue which is irksome. The explanation and procedure is on github, but boy, having to figure out how to mod the code and download all the Arduino stuff to p...

Re: Befaco VCMC voltage controlled MIDI controller

I updated with relative ease, and got the editor working no problem. I do, however, have an issue with the poly v/oct setting, and I suspect I'm doing something wrong. The way I read the manual, a gate into the 8th block's gate input will trigger a note to be sent from all channels set to v/oct. I ...

Re: Malekko Quad VCA

Shouldn't this module work with a Storage Strip? It says it recalls settings "on the same bus to instantly save/recall presets." so I assumed it was Select Bus compatible. No?

EDIT

Works like a charm, you just have to turn the Remote switch one. Duh. :hihi:

Re: Befaco VCMC voltage controlled MIDI controller

I just edited my settings, saved them to User1, and turned the case off and on again. Settings are there. Are you sure you saved? Sorry, that might sound stupid, but sometimes I forgot to save my configuration, so I have to ask.

Re: Chord oscillator for pad purposes

Been avoiding looking at it too much recently due to lack of available new module funds. But it is calling to me.... :help: So I shouldn't tell you that the latest version allows you to create your own chord types, program up to 16-step arpeggiation patterns, control everything under MIDI control, ...

Re: Introducing the Accord Melisma Chord Module!

On the upcoming firmware (v1.5) you'll be able to set the windows of both Root and Chord type progression lists to a single step, which means you'll be able to set the CC CV input as a single control for both. That way you'll be able to take the CV output of you Rene and set it to play specific chor...

Re: Chord oscillator for pad purposes

Have you seen the SDS Digital Melisma? It's like music theory in a box! Granted, you'd need a midi-to-cv module if you wanted to use it with analog oscillators. This is one of those modules that is one my "fascinated by" list and it keeps getting deeper in functionality every time I check up on it....

Re: Introducing the Accord Melisma Chord Module!

Wow that was short, but yes I think there are rules that perhaps, through the dev. of this fascinating module, we may earn enough brownie points from far beyond to become privy to! K, if you're wondering about that then I might as well put my head back in the sand haha! Oh, I didn't mean by adding ...

Re: Chord oscillator for pad purposes

Edit bgribble was faster! Chord oscillators are often frustrating to me. I'm a classically trained pianist so I know how to play chords but having them in some arbitrary order is annoying to me; having to scan through them for the right one. I don't know how that'd be improved without losing some co...

Re: Introducing the Accord Melisma Chord Module!

OK! Had a look at it. It will be in V.1.5 along with RC_LO & RC_HI (may as well) Your suggestion to place a single Root/Chord in a progression is required but haven't tested. Looks as though it will work OK with 1 Also the SysEx for custom chords should be completed by then as well :) Yeah, I guess...

Proof of concept for the above suggestion https://drive.google.com/file/d/1vKlp78f1tmPSvuKYyTlELszoPQ84lrOa/view?usp=sharing NB: - Window is actually limited to 2 selections at a time. This applies to both Root Progression and Chord Progression, so two triggers will progress within that window of tw...

Re: Introducing the Accord Melisma Chord Module!

If you're referring to using change in CV to select AND play chords, this might be difficult to achieve & operate as the chord list divides the voltage/chord by the number of chords stated in the range. The way I interpret 7on5on8on3 's post is as a request for a way to use a single CV source to ch...

Releasing firmware update is risky, could potentially lead to loosing some copyrights on your work. This is completely untrue.
