Re: solder wire brands that are 60/40 and 0.4mm or less

yeah, i'd probably steer clear of walmart for electronics solder. Kester offers everything down to 0.015" diamater

Re: DIY Mutable Unsuccessful Builds

Oh! That would explain the low/no power error message I was getting. So basically I just need to connect pins 01 and 19 of the larger header - is this correct? yup, its technically supposed to go to the target voltage but I've never seen a 5 pin SWD header so that pin just needs to be high for the ...

thanks for the information. I tend not to order from allied because of the $25 min order. sometimes they are the only option for nut strips or some weird part. they have excellent prices on gloves and tweezers.
Allied Electronics? That's news to me.

Re: Ideas for small hard-to-accidentally-hit reset button?

Just a 6mm tact with a long actuator that ends just below the panel will do it. Something with a low actuation force would be good

Re: Modular Addict taking a break?

you can buy small quantities from selco in the US. that is the whole point of sifam having a distribution deal with selco in the united states. I assumed you wanted 100 knobs. if you want 10 knobs you can ask selco or modular addict. if modular addict has them listed as selco then you can guess the...

Sounds like digital bus noise. Does it get worse when you turn one of the pots? Has anyone actually tested the CS80 filter on the XT?

Those fake AVRispMKII are garbage, avoid at all costs. I tried one (that exact one actually) as a backup and I couldnt get it to work with anything either. It uses some wack emulated serial port scheme that's supposed to get it to appear as a real device in Studio but i couldnt get it to work

I ommitted R60 because according to the build guide, it's used for linear power only. Since my power supply is switched.... Is this in error in the build guide? Do I need it anyway?

Thanks again!
Youre right. Not needed with switcher

Re: Neutron Sound Orgone Accumulator DIY3 SMD

your bridge recitifier needs to be rotated 180, its just like an IC, the tapered side is always the side with pin 1

and where is R60? Wont work without that

Re: uT_u 8HP micro Temps Utile build

I just finished a build, flashed the software to it, and it starts up great, but the issue is when I'm calibrating it. There is no voltage coming out of 4D. Is there something I should look at? Thanks! You need to jumper the header to DAC and make sure you have the extra single pin connected on the...
