Re: Moogfest Sub-Harmonicon - What Is It?

I have been into electronic music and modular synths for about 15-20 years now. I play guitar and VERY rudimentary keys. I can see how this would be a “happy accident” machine. I do think it creates really nice rich timbres and you can get very nice polyrhythms going. Great device for generative mus...

Re: Make Noise 0-Ctrl

One thing that might be cool (sorry if already mentioned) is a sort of 'Power stackable' jumper cable. This way, you can use one power supply for both the 0-Coast and 0-Control.

Re: Something new from Make Noise coming?

to me this product is dope , however, if money was no object and I have a modular already, I feel you're covered with Rene 2 + PP . However, if I only had a 0-coast I would certainly purchase this So, if you don't have Rene or PP yet and you already have some Make Noise modules do you: A) Put Rene ...

Just pre-ordered at Control NYC if anybody was interested. Not sure if other sites have put up for pre-order yet.

Re: Something new from Make Noise coming?

When this first came out, I was thinking of modding it and putting it in my CV Bus case. I think now though, I am going to get a Rene 2 and 0-Ctrl and not get Pressure Points and Wogglebug. There is a bit too much that Rene can do which justifies the purchase in addition to 0-Ctrl (for me anyway). I...

Re: Something new from Make Noise coming?

Anyone know anything? Thanks for putting this thread together. You should change the name of the subject line to "Make Noise 0-Ctrl" or something now that we know what it is. Who here is getting this? Curious as to your thoughts on: Do you think this will hurt their Pressure Points sales? Do you th...

Re: Eurorack starter kits

If you had an 0-Coast and a Mother-32, that should be a great foundation and education into building a custom modular system. IMO, a 0-Coast and Mother-32 are basically “starter systems.” They are semi-modular but that’s okay. Think about what you don’t like about those two (or should I say what you...

Re: Video game inspired modules

I don’t know if Harvestman’s Piston Honda has tech in it deriving from video games, but the name is inspired from Mike Tyson’s Punch Out on NES. :)

Make Noise CV Bus Bar - Anybody do DIY

I'm not sure if this has been discussed, but has anyone created their own Make Noise CV Bus Bar like in the Shared System Case?

Think this thread has gone down a granular pathway.. the lubadh is the reel to reel looper.. not arbhar :hmm: I agree, but that's okay considering I love granular. It's funny all the attention that granular gets, when it's really one of the most simple forms of audio manipulation. Literally,...

Another thing to consider is USB (ES-8) vs USB-C (ES-9), but this is not THAT big of a deal.

After having a Morphagene for a bit and seeing various videos on Lubadh, I would agree with your initial assessment. To me, it seems like the MG has some significant features over Lubadh (reels, slices, sd card, etc). I will be curious if there is a difference in their sonic character. Is it possibl...

Lubadh vs. Morphagene

Just curious if anyone can expand upon the main differences between Instruo's new Lubadh and Make Noise's Morphagene. Both are fantastic modules. Just curious where you think each excel and where the drawbacks are of each.

My ES-8 Input Problem & Fix: Mac, Ableton & ES-8

Hey all, I just wanted to write about a problem I had that OS was able to help me solve on KVR. I thought it might be helpful to others so I am bringing it over here. I got an Expert Sleepers ES-8 and am using it with a Macbook Pro and Ableton Live 10 with CV Tools. At first, I was getting CV and au...

No reason why you can't offer it as both an entire lot and in pieces. I would also offer a pretty good discount if you wanna unload it all at once. If it were me, my listing would look something like this: I am asking $XXX for the whole rack. See individual prices next to each module for a la carte....

There is a lot of overlap between the Dynamix and the X-Pan. Naturally they have different feature sets, but if I was in the maket for a Dynamix today, I would heavily look at X-Pan too.

Please no reverb (or speakers). I cannot understand why the 2600 clones have continued to include those out-dated and completely unnecessary bits. Couldn't agree more regarding speakers. Small speakers do not really monitor the frequency range of our synths well. Couldn't agree less regarding rever...
