I got my first before even understanding it, trusting the hype. I was not disappointed. It's really very simple to understand it's basic functions, the complexity comes with combining these basics.

I hate hype-trains but Maths really is deserving of that hype.

I love it! I use it with the a-143-4 - perfect combo. A bit fiddly yes, but there are no alternatives for me who wants a 100% euro setup.

I think it's horrible how european politicians have persuaded the public into believing the greek people have been "lazy". But how could they possibly thrive if they have 6-months waiting lists? And no proper support? Or do you mean that the (probable) success of the Eaesel will force them to change business model and grow from that? To me, Buchla has always (well for the last two years... I'm a noob) been the system I'...

Actually, I feel my system is done. I really can't say I miss anything (except for a filter with CV controlled res, but that's a pretty minor "problem" for me). I would like to leave muffwiggler now, and really LEARN MY INSTRUMENT, so that in 30 years time I'd be a master of it. But... muffwiggler i...

Of course Buchla can do whatever they want, but this is not a proper, modern business model. I think they've gotten too comfortable for their own good. Just a few years back there were no alternatives. Now there's loads of Buchla-esque stuff in euro, at 10-30% of the price, with great support and av...

A Doepfer system can sound a lot better than any MS20 IMHO +1 I don't quite understand the obsession with having things sounding like "the real thing". I think my modular sounds better than anything in this world, and it's tonal palette is beyond anything. The MS-20 can only sound like an MS-20. Th...

Yeah, NOT a good idea with the blood. I want my modular to look futuristic, hi-tech and glossy, not dirty or bloody.

I'm sure Tom will listen to this critique and also offer clean white panels.

Edit: ^^ Yes! NOW I'm interested in that EKG. :)

The ones I ALWAYS use are Cloq, Logoi, Timetable, a-160/161 (pre-patched clock-section), Maths, Optomix, Mutagen and finally O'tool.

The 156's gets a lot of use too.

If it needs to be tethered to a computer, this device is pointless to me. I wouldn't mind an initial 10-minute set-up process, but that's it.

I'm really hoping this thing takes off. It seems like the perfect thing for me.

I've certainly experienced how modules wouldn't trigger when using passive mults. In my old setup I had to use a buffered multi in the clock-chain or all modules wouldn't trigger. No problems now though... Pretty much the same system, but now my signal starts with Cloq>Logoi.
