They can be sloppy but they have 'the feel'. If your using it to trigger your modular, as I use to do...

Not politics or religion, media. I just put all these personal attacks down as being completely irrationa...

(Particularly a Moog Voyager XL) as if you've not made enough of a twat of yourself round here, now you're advertising wants outside of the WTB sub-forum? dick. Your accusations say more about yourself then what it says about m...

Also pure CV/GATE control from an analogue sequencer doesn't suffer from MIDI jitter. If you want (and can hear!) balls-accurate timing you will want CV and GATE. MIDI has no inherent jitter and there are plenty of awful CV/Gate clocks (actually, almost all of them from my testing are pretty sloppy...

I wonder how hard it would be to make panel kits for pedals that turned them into little modules? Like a third party business that just made do it yourself kits for this purpose? I would take it a step further: I'd love to see someone set up a business doing conversions to complete, finished module...

If it is only "Songs" you want to compose, that is the market Ableton is targeting. Repetitive sections, loops, etc is its specialty. However, the 'song' form represents less then 10% of musical forms. If you are interested in composing other forms of music, Logic (Cubase, ProTools) is the way to go...

I'm seriously considering getting OSXPro but I need Reaktor to run it. If I get Reaktor, I'd just have to get Spark! Then I'm only 100 bucks off the price of Komplete. Which brings right back to having way too many VIs and overwhelming me. :hmm: I've been so much more productive since I limite...
