just to clarify, the case i'm looking at is 9U with two bricks and three boards. i am looking to expand to 9U and just want to make sure that I am getting a case with a reliable PSU
Out of interest, what did you go with? I’m facing the same question.

Re: Quadigy ADSR alternative?

If you're fine with a bit of menu tinkering then the micro Ornament & Crime can do quad ADSR in 8hp on the Piqued mode. Or quad AR or ASR or ADSAR etc, whatever mix of these. In function:hp it seems nothing will beat that, now or in the foreseeable future. However I'm not certain if the Piqued mode...

Re: Frequency Shifters and Pitch Shifters

I believe the new 2HP Pitch module will have a kind of wobble/warble effect, controlled by the ‘tone’ dial- interested to try this one out.

In case you missed them, I made some Quadigy videos:

Marcin also did a review that covers the cycling features I did not:
Haha yes I watched all of them! Ace. I felt like I basically knew everything about it. Thanks for those. Quadigy still in my modulargrid wishlist 😁

Re: SSF Stereo Dipole filter

Hi all. Just received mine and I’m in love with the sound. This one seems to have quite wiggly pots, a few of the shafts have a fair bit of give with some being worse than others. Is this consistent with other units? Cheers. Has anyone tried fixing the wiggly pots on their units? Is there a way to ...

Re: Quadigy ADSR alternative?

Thank you guys. I had concluded it was the best option, especially for what I’ll need it for. I wanted to (but couldn’t easily) find the next best step down from it, without it just being a single envelope... So thanks for confirming! It goes to show how much of an excellent module it is, in just 14...

Quadigy ADSR alternative?

I love the look of the Klavis Quadigy ADSR for my synth/sound design rig, and I probably will go for it. But I wondered if there was an alternative that was smaller HP, didn’t focus on the ‘live’ aspect, and dropped down from 4 envelopes to 2-3? Basically, 2-3x individual ADSR with controllable CV s...

Re: Expert Sleepers ES-9 USB Audio Interface

It has an internal mixer, which you can use without the USB connection. Currently the mixer has only 8 inputs, but I plan a firmware version supporting all 14. Awesome, thanks! Forgive my noobness, does that internal mixer work with inputs coming from stereo outputs? Eg. L into 1, R into 2, a coupl...

Re: Expert Sleepers ES-9 USB Audio Interface

Wondering how this module works when not using USB to the computer... Could I say, use all 14 inputs and that runs directly to the headphone out? Just for listening / playback when on the go?

Or would I need a seperate headphone out / mixer module?

Biggest reasons you sell your gear?

Hey, This is a fairly open ended question. What are the biggest reasons you sell your modules? Eg, you want new gear and need to swap it out to make room? You need the cash? You didn’t research about what you needed / realized you didn’t need it? Had other modules that could do the same task and mor...

Re: Expert Sleepers ES-9 USB Audio Interface

Has anyone tried the ES-9 with an audio interface plugged into it? So it acts as an input (let’s say you have an audio interface with phantom powered mics plugged in)?

I haven’t found a video or examples of this working and just wondered if someone had experience. Cheers!

Do I have enough power?

Hi! Thanks in advance =) I’ve started to build this 6U 104 rack: https://www.modulargrid.net/e/racks/view/1129376 I have the Intellijel TPS80W on the way. https://intellijel.com/shop/power/triple-power-supply-80w-3u-6u-busboard/ The 2 Metasonix tube modules draw about 2.5x their usual usage on cold ...

Re: My first rack synth, SFX generation

Haha nice! I have both the Cascade and the tenderfoot ease in there already, you think an extra attenuator would be good on top of those? And which do you suggest for this rack, a buffered multiple or just normal mults (if I’m only going to have one 2hp strip in there?). I hear what you’re saying ab...

You made the hours I spent writing out the thoughts on my rack totally worth it - thank you! I suspected I needed some mults and extra utilities but I just didn’t know what and how much. Module with good headphone amp

First post! Yay.

Wondering if there’s a general consensus as to which output module has the best headphone amp? Looking between 2-6hp.

Cheers!
