Love the added filter and delay, any word on what those are based on, internally?
It is Moog, so it is going to be a Moog filter. The delay is a BBD, I haven't seen anything about max delay time, but the demos sounded like it can do at least about 500ms.

I missed out of the Etherwave Pro. I've had my Big Briar Etherwave for 20-ish years. I think I want one of these.

I don't understand what benefit is gained by designing a module's PCB to fit a very specific case.

I do it with control voltage patches and I can do it really well. I don't really do it with audio patches.

Re: Vocoder modules

Doepfer. the Doepfer is great, but obsolet ! and when i wanted to sell one, for a aceptable price, was nobody interested, which i found strange, since you can´t get a new one any longer. (or has this changed ? ) its for some things shurely one of the most interesting Vocoders ever ( for me: doing r...

Re: Separating sources by band

First question is why not just record the sources separately rather than mixing them and trying to separate them after the fact? You are going to find that your sounds overlap into other bands and that they spread across multiple bands. You will not be able to have a band that just gives you only yo...

Re: Small case for pressure points?

The little wooden skiff the OP posted might be the one Make Noise sold for a while. I had one briefly for a PP setup and found that the lack of grounding made the module almost unusable. It was a crappy box, tbh. There are better skiffs out there. Yeah, I came here to say the Pressure Points is no ...

I don't know, but they are still a really unique band. I mean a lot oh bands took bits of their style but no one sounded like them. They are supposedly writing new music.

Re: Patching tips for the Doepfer A-171-2 VCS Slew Processor/Generator Serge Module

Yeah, what are you wanting to do with it? To use it as a slew limiter patch your signal into the "In" jack and your slewed signal will come out the "Out" jack. If you want to use it as an envelope patch your trigger into the "Trig" input and the envelope with come out the "Out" jack. Flipping the sw...

Re: how to switch between different gate sources without cloicks

My guess is that the envelope is triggered at a lower voltage than the VC switch. The envelope starts before the switch switches and you end up with what is essentially a very quick pitch envelope. Either add a positive offset to the gate that is controlling the switch so it is just before the switc...

Re: mini mic into Eurorack

That would be the kind of adaptor you would want. The mic pictured and the adaptor are both TS connectors. I don't know anything about the Roland module. It might want a balanced signal for the mic. I also don't know anything about the mic, and don't know if it needs power.

Re: Two mono mixers = stereo mixing?

Yeah, it would work. Mult the input to the same channel on each mixer. With the module pictured, if you had two, you could even use the old audio engineer trick where you wrap a rubber band between two knobs so that when you turn one the other turns. Wrap the rubber bands in a figure-eight so that w...

Re: Analog Waveform divider / multiplier

Depends what you mean. You can use a clock divider as a suboctave generator as long as it can handle audio rates. Which is also why so many suboctaves on analog synths are square waves.
