A problem with this request might be that few others care as much about the lost seconds, I’m guessing.
and once again i'm surprised that as a moderator you feel the need to speak on behalf of users and module manufacturers.

Hi! Ok, this is not as direct as your request, but a quick "clean PAM" solution for now might be a global reset (holding down the encoder on the BPM screen for global settings -> reset -> "yes").
yes, that's what i'd like to not have to do on every modular power up

Re: Announcing ALM017 - Pamela's NEW Workout

Great new updates, Pam is turning into a powerhouse! One question and one recycled feature request: 1) When i sync Pam to "slow" clock sources, e.g. Hermod which don't put out 24PPQN but only do 1/32 notes - it often latches to the wrong tick and while having the right tempo is out of phase with my ...

Re: Instruo arbhar granular processor

Wondering how everyone's experience is with this module in comparison to a Clouds - is having both redundant? I'm going to sell my Monsoon but i'm sure someone will jump in with an argument why having both is absolutely necessary ;) To play devil's advocate: If you absolutely must use the "end of c...

Re: Joystick rec's

I was looking for a cheaper alternative to the Planar2 and got the Flame Joystick Recorder.

It does the joysticking well, has useful outputs and can even record/play/loop recorded movements. I'm happy and personally don't miss any Planar features.

Re: Instruo arbhar granular processor

Variable length would be nice indeed, e.g. stop capture and that would define the length until erased. I often don't need 10 (or rather 12 seconds) of buffer and then have to manually control spray and the range of scan CV to not dig into the empty part of the buffer. But i guess it would be tricky ...

@aphex2000, @Fedor -- I found a big and fixed it, the fix is up on Github. I committed the cardinal sin of making changes to the instr at the last minute without testing. Please accept my apologies, and give this new version a try. Can can assure you that, this time, the version on Github is identi...

i had to update the firmware and remove your instrument to get it to finish looping, something is amiss. but yeah, the neb is a PITA to debug such issues so can't help you finding whats triggering it.

Very cool stuff aphex! Care to share the patch? Cheers! Honestly can't remember other what you see on the (dark) video. As long as the Osc Envelope ist at 0, it's a pretty plain sound source. Just noticed you changed the knobs instead of the little pots. Has that changed your experience with the DF...

Re: Instruo arbhar granular processor

How sensitive is your onset detection with the onboard mic? Mine when just slightly moved up triggers on the tiniest noise, eg when i touch a cable or press a button.

I tried extreme settings on the Mic Preamp trimmer but that didnt help much.

Re: Squarp Instruments Hermod Modular Brain

Yeah i expected it to just play whatever note it finds when you progress a step and ignore what you jump over. But to add to your point, it would indeed be nice to still be able to clock that inside-the-division tempo externally - that would allow for some great variety with related BPM.

Re: Squarp Instruments Hermod Modular Brain

Hmmmm based on your comment and further tests i think i now understand what its doing: on every trigger it jumps ahead the division, e.g. a quarter note and plays all the notes inside that division at the set internal BPM. Hence why it's still somehow linked to the internal clock. Weird and not the ...

Re: Squarp Instruments Hermod Modular Brain

`Hermod can now be synchronized in a "step advance" (trigger) style` this gives the option for hermod to act more like a 'traditional' sequencer, rather than a clocked sequencer... this offers quite a lot of really interesting possibilities. Thanks for the notification! Did you get this mode to act...

Re: Rossum Panharmonium Resynthesizer

I'm debating getting this and would appreciate some long-term user's feedback. The demos all sound very similar, does the module still "surprise" you after a few months of use or is it one of those gimmicky things you like to explore initially but are then collecting dust?

Who are these people that are demanding that you have to make music/songs? I have never heard anyone tell anyone else that they demand them to make music/songs, or that they're less deserving of their modular if they don't.

Re: Is Eurorack just extreme consumerism?

I just want to add my 2 cents because i can shamelessly say: I like collecting music gear more than making actual music. I have no problems to admit that. I buy, test, wiggle, play, jam, sell. Sometimes i record, mostly not. I almost never polish & finish "a song". This for me is semi-productive tim...

Let's patch a Subharmonicon

I'm intrigued by the Moog Subharmonicon, particularly the hands-on creative polyrhythmic sequencing. I don't want to spend the money for it (but i probably will anyway for i am weak and already have the DFAM) so i'm looking to replicate it with what i have. How would you patch this up with common Eu...
