Re: Behringer PPG.......

I still have an 002, Iridium, Prophet X and Pro 2. Way to power through the tough times. It's difficult to imagine being so hamstrung. Stay strong, buddy!! Not sure what you're getting at, but it's a pretty asinine comment. Not sure if you've been watching the news, but it turns out 2020 has been a...

Re: Joranalogue SWITCH 4 - Performance Switcher/Router

I wish the top half was as it is now with the two knobs for 4-into-1 use cases, but the bottom half had two more knobs and their own jacks for the 1-into-4 use cases, instead of the switches it has in the bottom half now...

Be thankful you have one. I think it looks fine, myself.

But it will no doubt be easy to flip if you don't want it.

Re: things that would get your Muff license revoked

Back in 1995 I traded a Polysix, Juno-106 and CS-20m for a just released, brand new Korg Prophecy. I may have you beat on that one!! I got my brand new Korg Prophecy also in 1995 by trading.... A system 100 model 101 and 102. I still cry myself to sleep at night. Ouch. I "only" paid $1200 for a new...

Re: Why buy used at recent market prices?

Why? Because gear doesn't grow on trees.

And it's virtually always cheaper used, so it saves $.

And it all adds up over time. Simple math, really.

Re: Endorphin.es Queen of Pentacles

It's an Austrian company, I believe. She is or was modular artist with her own persona/name/whatever, but I forget. I saw it a couple of years ago. Endorphin.es is now located in Barcelona. I believe she is Julia Bondar from Endorphin.es :hihi: , also a modular artist. She is Ukrainian. That's righ...

I legit like everything about it except the SDCard slot placement, and those Trimmers not being on front, too.

Re: Sooooo frustrated with threaded strips

If you fill the slot *almost* full of Sliding Nuts you can effectively reap the benefits of both types. Further, a Dental Pick type tool that you keep with your Screwdriver makes scooting Sliding Nuts much easier. tl;dr? * add more Sliding Nuts until almost full * get small Pick tool to help move Sl...

Re: Endorphin.es Queen of Pentacles

If people on this forum aren’t the target market, then who is? A small but growing army of well-heeled business and tech people who use modular synths to "unwind" and don't have time to listen to our babble. They can easily afford to cop every shiny new module the second it's announced and decide i...

Cool.

I, funny enough, don't like eBooks at all, and still only buy and read paper Books.

Re: Vote now! Eurorack Essential Features Survey 2020

I like Video 'manuals' well enough, as a format. Good ones are, I think, even better than PDF/paper. Producing an honest attempt at either seems a reasonable expectation. We (the customers) aren't mind readers, they (the makers) are surely responsible (informally) for conveying to us what *their* th...

Re: SSF Entity

Lol. The distributors warned me that my last order would be from the last batch available, so I passed this info on. Sometimes folk end up changing their minds though, and then I look like I was making it up! :) So, as far as I’m aware, the one unit I have left in stock is the last one I’ll have ( ...

At least half of all that should be the baseline for all, imo.

It will be interesting to see the results.

Here how I hook up my BeatstepPro + Cycles + Euro: BSPro is Master Transport/Master Tempo/Master Clock. BSPro MIDI Out (Clock+Transport only) to Cycles MIDI IN. BSPro CV I/O to two distinct Eurorack voices. BSPro Triggers to a few random things in my rig. Cycles MIDI Out to CV.OCD MIDI IN which feed...

I'd like to strangle folks to near death over the rampant lack of individual outputs. Stop it, right now, you insufferable twots. (Looking at you, Elektron Cycles/Digi). Quit thinking the hobbled, tiny, inadequate mixers and fx you build in are remotely enough to not need others. Everything needn't ...
