Re: Normalling Eurorack
Thanks for the reply. Perhaps semi-modular in functionality but not in makeup. I would love to have modules from multiple makers, Erica, Mutant, JoMox, etc. I just know that for the majority of the time 8 triggers will be patched into the same modules, into the same mixer channels, etc. Just hoped ...

Re: Your Favorite Acquisitions in 2020
Vehicle : Bright yellow VW T4 2.5 TDI van converted to a camper Dope. Post pics. I love vw buses. She is a 2001 VW T4, 5 cylinder 2.5 turbo diesel, with the engine remapped for a bit more oomph. Even so, on a long run, fuel consumption is around 42 mpg. Originally this was an AA recovery van, which...

Re: Need plain-vanilla multi-LFO for panning—most bang-for-the-buck?
The pan and level inputs on the PM have no attenuation. PM Level CV inputs are 0–5v. PM Pan CV inputs are -5v–5v. I don’t have a A-145-4, but it probably outputs ±7v or something like that. Implications. Such a good point. Up until last year, I didn't have any dedicated Attenuators in my kit, besid...

I dig it.
Been lusting after a Maxi version for years.
This is more attainable and probably good enough.

Sounds like you want to *switch* back and forth between two mono VCAs, one for Left and one for Right, rather than actually Pan it.

Re: Sequencer with unquantized recording...
I'm sure some nerdier-nerd than I can explain it better than I'm about to, but that said: It's all quantized , in the end, it's just a matter of fine(r) grained resolution - or the lack therof, all about resolution and the resulting perception of unquantized that that granularity allows, even so-cal...

The synergistic gestalt of my Mackie 8bus does have a certain je ne sais quoi surrounding its fascinatingly nebulous but altogether mesmerizing zeitgeist, delivered rather efficaciously, particularly for a budget console. Hehe, I did my best to be succinct and clear with something that’s sort of ab...

I'd prefer the reverse.
Everything be spaced like 5U, at least as an option.
Matriarch/Grandmother/5U spacing is so much nicer.
And I love my eurorack.

(New to video synthesis, am ignorant to much if it still, just now starting to dig in and learn. forgive my basic Qs...). So - I already walk around with a sense that I know I want a video setup, I simply haven't gotten to it yet, time and $, and competing priorities, all that. But soon, I've been t...
