Re: Squarp Rample

I also ended up swapping the knobs with Selcos. The stock ones were not very nice to grasp. Can you tell us which ones exactly you used (model number)? I used D-Shaft Selcos, my preferred knob. I try to replace everything with it if possible. Fortunately my system is mostly Intellijel, as they use ...

Re: Best light travel cases

The Intellijel cases are great for this. Their aluminum frames make for a very lightweight package. The 7U 84HP case is a good mid-sized option, and if you want to go smaller there’s the 4U 62HP Palette. Intellijel also sells plastic lids and gig bags, to better facilitate easy portage. 84hp is now...

Re: Korg Drumlogue

BTW, after looking at the panel labels it seem that it has 4 analog voices: BD, SD, LT, HT 4 digital "fixed" voices : CH, OH, RS, CP 2 sample voices 3 digital "synth" voices: VPM (FM), noise, user (the kind of user-loaded generators that the other logues have) the analog voices have very little par...

Re: Korg Drumlogue

Lol. It doesn't really sound much more than a Volca Beats, but if there are samples, osc models and effects, I'm sure it has much more potential.

Re: Korg Drumlogue

This could be really cool, depending on the final features. If you can load different sdk osc models per channel (like a nice FM synth), plus have samples and analog drums, plus sdk effects, I might have to get this. looking forward to more info.

If this is for audio, there's also the new Stereo Mixer as an option. You can chain units: https://intellijel.com/shop/eurorack/1u ... -mixer-1u/

Plonk has all D-Shaft Pots. You probably can fit the new Thonk Trimmer Toppers on the small attenuverter pots: https://www.thonk.co.uk/shop/tall-trimmer-toppers/

Essential to me as well. But I also keep a second Tetrapad independent. Even without the sequencing, I'm completely addicted tot he euclidian patterns, recordable faders, and being able to recall all of those settings.

Re: intellijel Rainmaker

TP would be really fun with LFOS, preset voltages and sliders. Too bad there wouldn’t be enough space for a Tete as well.

Quadrax is also great, and you can even make a voice out of that to send into the rainmaker.

Depends on what you put in the 1U section as well really.

I don't know if that's the case. I had one of the first ones as soon as it was released. Still noisy and glitchy.

Re: MakeNoise Mimeophon

In my case I just wanted it gone, and the experience made me decide not to buy anymore MN. Plenty of great modules out there that are flawless and taken care of with firmware updates. So maybe when they start seeing sales hits from people not buying modules they’ll be a little more concerned about c...

Re: MakeNoise Mimeophon

Pretty sure their stance is ‘it is what it is’. Probably not something that can be fixed with firmware is my guess. You just have to decide if you can live with the noise and glitches or move on. I chose to move on to other modules. It’s not worth it to me to try and fix the issues after recording o...

Re: Xaoc Devices Sarajewo: Syncable Analog Delay Line SHIPPING NOW!

Same as closedLoop. If I need reverb with it I just run in into one of my FX-AIDs. In addition to the glitches and noise, the mimeophon had an awful was of offsetting left and right delay times. With the Sarajewo, I just pan one output left and another right and get really nice synced stereo delays....

Get a wide enough rubber band, place it across the head, put screwdriver on top. It should give you enough grip to get it.

Honestly, this is the stuff that makes modular synth patching the most fun IMO. CV processing with analog logic and gate/trigger processing with boolean logic/flipflops, etc.

I would like to swap out all the knobs in my little 6U system for Davies 1900H style knobs. With my Intellijel modules (Atlantis, uVCA II, and uMod II) none of the knobs are coming loose from a moderate pull upwards. Is there a trick to getting these knobs off safely? Use a thin piece of plastic li...

I think the 44mm measurement is probably to handle the room needed for the power ribbon. The rest of the module is not bad at all. It all depends on the module.

Re: [Guide] Monsoon (Clouds derivative) - In depth guide in the style of Mutable Instruments' guides

Thanks for making this. Very useful. Slightly off topic, but does anyone sell alternative panels for Monsoon? I have the white After Later one and it's pretty ugly... There are, but they are mostly PCB as well. If you're after aluminum the best thing to do is sell it and buy a new one from Michigan...

hello, anybody using Shapeshifter in an Intellijel palette? just wondering if it fits, w/power cable installed, etc. (apologies if this has already been addressed) I just put my Shapeshifter and Rainmaker into a 62hp Palette. Both fit fine and there's plenty of power. (I don't have any 1U there cur...
