Re: Something new from Make Noise: Strega
Livestream on Instagram with @sarahbellereid playing Strega after the YouTube video apparently. I look forward to hearing more people prove "Strega makes everyone sound like Cortini" wrong :) Hey everybody it is actually a video post that Sarah will be doing on her Instagram channel. I misspoke the...

Re: normal sidrax behavior?
thanks - that’s reassuring. how can i adjust the bars? also - the middle bar in particular seems to do that call and response tone everytime i press it. like - press down and hold -> tone sounds then a short lull then the same tone. i seem to not be able to achieve a sustained note without the two ...

Re: Deerhorn knob below white jacks
I overlooked this on the Deerhorn page:
You must always tune the response first, so that the two leds cross each other at a comfortable range from the antenna. Fine tuning is done with the top knob.

Deerhorn knob below white jacks
What does the knob below the two white jacks do? It seems to have some effect on the "decay" of the upper Deerhorn for me, but maybe that is a false reading since my hand is typically activating that one while I tweak the knob. Thanks!

The description on the website says Within the Make Noise system the Multiple may also be used for combining clock, gate and pulse signals together to create interesting timing sources (in other words, it acts as a Gate combiner aka logic OR circuit)." Perhaps this should say Clock, gate, and pulse...

My opinion on this is that Make Noise and Verbos are being irresponsible in marketing them that way (MN more so than Verbos) because the OR functionality is not a property of their mults but of their other modules. Hey there, can you point to where it is that you saw MN "marketing" gate-combining v...

building off of funk's questions, which CV inputs do NOT accept negative voltages? I'm confused that Rate, Zone, and Color have attenuverters but their CV inputs are described as accepting 0-5VDC. and I would be surprised if any CV inputs clamped negative voltages on a new Make Noise design. Those ...

Well then currently you'll struggle with moving forward if separate cables is a killer. As all modules that accept stereo inputs, are separate mono jacks. Until the big boys who kind of 'standardize' a TRS stereo jack input into their modules, it won't fly. Kind of like apple and their usb-c connec...

yeah "it is a stereo multi-zone color audio repeater" is really a galaxy-brain way of avoiding "it's an delay module" Yeah, that's Make Noise for you. :hihi: I was waiting to see if Walker managed to get through the whole thing without saying "delay" at all. He didn't quite. Guess I owe T...

New video is a remake of the old favorite, "René as Non-Linear Quantizer" from 2014, transplanted to the current version of René. Enjoy!! another question, yestraday I try the patch with xcv adressing and I reproduce the same patch that we see in the video but seems that the notes are "trilling". what I'm doing wrong? It's possible to hit "in between" values. Suggestions to minimize it: attenuate the CV input you're addressing as muc...
