I've been considering adding a BAM to my setup for awhile now, this is great to hear.

Re: Recommend some monitors?
If you're worried about the neighbors, why not just get a nice set of headphones? You can get some killer headphones for less than the cost of a single monitor in some of these suggestions. I personally would want a 2.1 system with a nice sub if I was concerned about being blown away by Moog bass, b...

Re: Patchable filters!
WMD Aperture has no less than 9 cv inputs and is an absolute beast of a bandpass filter. You have individual control of the HP/LP cutoff and res as well as the overall frequency and bandwidth, feedback, and an input vca. I hardly ever see it mentioned around here, and it's totally killer.

Assuming you own a drill, just get some Easy Out extractor bits. You should be able to pick up a set at Menard's/Home Depot/Local Hardware Store of Choice for under $20. Much less risky than trying to use pliers or snips.

Re: 1010music Bluebox - Compact Digital Mixer/Recorder
Really excited for this little box. The per-channel eq alone will save so much space compared to trying to set that up in-rack it almost makes this a no-brainer by itself. I'm interested in how the verb and compressor will sound as well. I have delay covered in my rack (and prefer voltage control ov...

Teenage Engineering PO-33. Cheap, fits in my pocket, and capable of extreme hilarity when you get other people in on the fun and record them talking or making goofy noises.

Re: Which old school eurorack modules don't get enough love anymore?
Great thread topic. I haven't been into modular long enough to answer myself. But will offer maybe a different way to frame a similar question - for those who've been into eurorack for several years, and have rotated modules in and out fairly frequently, what's the module or 2 that has been in your...

Re: Which old school eurorack modules don't get enough love anymore?
I think the rise of dual and quad modules has left a lot of standard modules behind. As an example, when a new user compares something like the uLFO and Batumi, the uLFO not only takes up more real estate, but is "only" a single lfo compared to the Batumi's 4 (regardless of how feature-rich that sin...

Re: WMD and Make Noise Production delays
Perfect Circuit has been receiving both WMD and Make Noise modules. They go quick though. I know PC recently received Metrons, Performance Mixers . . . I have a WMD Performance Mixer on pre-order with another vendor, but they won't guarantee color. I was able to pick-up a PM Channels in black (pref...

Re: Modules that need an expander to be really top class
Ex. quadra and expander. expander is definitely not needed depending on what you plan to use the module for This is the example I was going to use. I have other modules available when I need EoC/EoR functionality, and in the case of Quadra, bought the module for the function density in a small foot...

I'm torn on this one. As a long time BSP user, the extra cv/gate track would be a godsend -but- losing knob-per-step is a massive downside... I'd have liked to see my biggest nitpick w/ the BSP addressed too - cv jacks on top of the module rather than the back... I was definitely hyped momentarily b...

Re: Disapointing Modules
I'm not going to name anyone or anything, but I recently got a module in the mail that disappointed in multiple ways. First of all, it has two PCBs, and the second one is only connected by the pins, like an Arduino shield or something, and came off in my hand. Not very impressive. Then, once I'd pi...
