Re: Ableton CV tools and ES expander modules

Sorry, might be stupid; but how do i setup a simple LFO for es-5 from Live?
I have the controller VST, i use es-9 and apollo twin in agregate device. ES-9 is ch1-16 i/o , apollo comes after it.

Re: Ableton CV tools and ES expander modules

Hello, i have different issue - i've connected es-5 to es-9, and it flashed all jacks red once. After that i cannot see it anywhere in Mac OS i/o. No way to set it up as aggregate device or anything else.

for a time i had every NE oscillator. #1 Loquelic, #2 Cursus, #3 BIA, #4 Manis, #5 Ataraxic for me.

Loquelic is the bees knees imo, and cursus follows very closely behind. I also had a bunch of other oscillators but finally got 2 loquelic's & cursus from NE, rest was analog.

i'm 628 and Soma replied to me that i should expect notice at the end of January. Also - according to Soma themselves - no one declined the preorder so far. Everybody bought. So no shortening of the que is visible.

I've ordered 2x rungler, 2x matrix, 2x twin peaks, and I asked Rob to configure the rest of 4x3 given my intended use of the system ( evolving horror drones and gurgles) he told me he will get back to me when it's closer to my turn as many modules are re visited and updated I think. So far top notch...

ive had NTO & Schippman Omega Phi. Nothing subbases as Omega Phi and NTO goes very pleasantly low as well. I've had Loquelic and it does not come close to this two monsters in terms of low end. I tended to use Loq as bright metallic thing because it has super sharp/piercing character at high end.

Treat your room is the 1st step. Then you'll star hearing what you do. Proper monitors help too. If you cant, get some spectra analysis software and check recordings. Look for sub base & base freq and compare with tracks you like. If possible, do a pre gig sound check. Even if you didnt add enough t...

@stujay18, its not. But it's supposedly much more playable/straightforward.

But no custom voltage tables; no math operations, less steps etc.

i just wish 101-102 got a 103 expander that shows its overall state visually.

I'm just gonna ask here because its hard to see any video of that kind of use: I wanna do "Steve Reich's phasing" with 2 nebs, will that work ? 1. Use manual latch to start recording on both Nebs simultaneously 2. Record same audio to both Nebs 3. Just slightly move the speed knob down on one Neb 4....
