Re: Anybody using a Lorre-Mill Double Knot with their CL?

Would really appreciate if any of you more knowledgeable ciat patchers could help me out by answering a couple questions. 1 - Is it completely safe to patch both ways between a Cocoquantus and a double knot? I'm wary of patching my Plumbutter with my DK as I've read of some people frying something i...

Re: Post pics of your euro setup! - RESIZE YOUR PHOTOS PLEASE

Thanks man, im just getting the hang of it tbh but you are right - drones'n'pings with just enough structure to pass it as 'musical' :) That workflow all sounds dizzying to me! Then again I've never fully grokked how to work a DAW yet alone integrate it with a hardware setup.. I love the idea of us...

Both Ellises out for Catalyst, 2nd es-9 and few other things to finish this up :-) Love the Eqs/Filterbanks This system looks very fun and very intrigui...

The not yet released IME Andore Jr has cv controlled velocity (as well as a built in filter and vca..!)

Re: Six Sisters

Have a sixfold bandpass filter with 2 sisters in formant mode. yessss. Just Friends 6 outputs > 6 bp sisters > Txn for panning > headphones :spin: Sending the 'all' outputs to opposite sis fm inputs is a fun addition to this patch as well.

I've been wanting to downside my Clouds with a DIY one but these sort of threads scare me. If you've already got Chronoblob 2 why not buy the Alright Devices' own T Wrex to go in the FX loop and roll your own filter? T Wrex has lots of CV inputs for the decimator. (The only thing I could wish for on Prism is more control over the decimator, but I can't quite put my finger on how, and I'm...

Nice jams! I liked that last one. Prism does seem like a lot of playability/capability-ness in 12hp.. Have been debating swapping my Chrono 2 for it.. A tough call.

Does anyone else wish you could set individual channels to be one shot triggers/gates? The ability to have for example channels 1-4 on tempo locked duties while having channels 5-6 be for tapping in melodies/modulation over the top would really elevate this module to new heights for me.. It even loo...

As for the nice little system, my unqualified advice would be replace Tides with Stages, replace contour with Optomix..

1-take recording featuring: DFAM, Stages harmonic oscillator, 2x STO, and Plaits in inharmonic string mode. https://soundcloud.com/sully500/zonkwonker I still consider myself a Modular newbie, but I feel like my slow progress is finally starting to lead somewhere, though I'm not sure where yet. That's a great looking setup Pighood. It looks like that perfect size where it's large enough you don't need to stress the size of things like the 2x VCA matrix, but not so large that it becomes more of a library than an instrument. Looks fun!

Another one to consider is ALM's MCO, haven't tried one myself but it seems like it could add some nice variation to what you already have

About a year ago my dad helped me build a modular synth case. Or - more appropriately - he built it, and I stood there taking pictures. Seemed like a better division of labour since I'm not very skillful when it comes to handling tools. The case turned out beautifully, looks like it was made with l...
