So here is what I want to do : I want to be able to recorded a pattern of notes (melody) into a sequencer with it's keyboard or external controller , then once those notes are recorded into the sequencer I want to be able to play the sequence of notes I just recorded with the keys and have them tra...

Yeah checked this out yesterday and meant to comment but my internet went down. Anyhow, i really enjoyed the music and the video was really nice and fit the mood of the music. I am so ready for this midwest winter to be over and was feeling particularly bummed about it yesterday but watching your vi...

I remember feeling like this when i started 10 years ago, but now i rarely buy anything new and when i get excited about all the new stuff i often realize i can patch up something similar with what i already have. Don't sweat it, just have fun with what you have and realize that as long as you keep ...

Re: Soundcraft Signature 22 MTK Vs. Behringer ufx1604

Hi Miles. i'm trying to decide between these 2 and wondered if you did indeed buy the Behringer? If so how do you like it compared to the Soundcraft? Thanks Hello Friends, I have never asked to do a vs. comparison before, but I'm on the verge of selling my Soundcraft Signature MTK 22 for the behring...

I started playing Bass about 2 years ago, the gear lust side of me really wanted to buy a nice setup because i appreciate quality in sound but the logical side of me decided on the Fender Rumble because it was cheap and i didn't really want to regret putting a bunch of money into something i honestl...

I have one as well and feel like i got what i paid for. All and all i'd say if your looking for something that offers 4 independent modulation sources and want the ability to create fairly complex waveforms really quickly, go for it, you wont be disappointed. Once you get how it's layed out it's pre...

Re: Omnimod

Did anyone ever receive and try out the Omnimod? It looks awesome but has a pretty low rating on Modular Grid so I'm curious how it turned out for everybody. Yes they have been out for a little time now. I got mine and am very happy with it. There is another thread if you search Omnimod and skip to...

No long runs involved, just signal compatibility. How would I go about wiring the cables for this?

Not sure what you have in mind by sounding "modular", but FWIW, here's a playlist I made using almost exclusively the PRO2, a Space reverb and in some cases BugBrand DRM's : https://soundcloud.com/phisynth/sets/dsi-pro-2-experiments I think almost all of these patches use the 16 freely assignable m...

I picked one up fairly recently as well. This is my first DSI instrument and am really digging it. I dont have any modular type patches that i have done with it yet because i bought it to compliment the modular but check out this vid if you haven't yet.

i think let's start by collecting info here on the forum.. then just compile it? idk.. just trying to get the ball rolling to answer some of the "Wtf is this doing" questions.. the basics of the module are pretty evident imo.. That sounds like a good idea, maybe a new thread? Has anyone figured out...
