Re: Teia Optocore- Vactrol VCF & VCA

Decided to give one a shot. I'm a sucker for new filters. Can't get enough.

Nice demo video btw.

PulpLogic Att-Vert
+1 for this! Same with the Att-Off.

I think the first module I had two of was the Disting mk4. Also have three knob.farm hyrlo’s now.

I still don’t use mine very much. I did find Hemispheres much friendlier though.

Re: Do you own an oscilloscope?

I started with a little hand held thing which was .. somewhat useful. Upgraded to a ZeroScope, then to an O’Tool+. I find it very handy when I confuse myself and need to figure out what the heck is going on in my rack. This is a somewhat common occurrence, so pretty glad to have a scope. Haven’t bee...

Re: Pittsburgh Modular Double Helix Owners: How do you like it?

Saw this thread pop up and figured I’d stop by to plug Richard’s stream. Richard from Pittsburgh Modular streams on YouTube often and is happy to talk about as well as demonstrate his modules. The Double Helix is on there frequently. =)

Re: Bread and Butter Analog Oscillators in 2020

+1 for the Pittsburgh Lifeforms Primary Oscillator.

Honorable mentions for me would be the Dixie as well as Instruo’s Ts-L and Tona.

Shouldn’t that disting shirt have a _______ where the “oscillator” is?

Re: Brand new to this.

Just my thoughts... It is definitely possible to grow too big, too fast. But on the flip side, it is difficult to contain that initial excitement, too. “Must.. buy.. all the things..!” I think it is safe to say that at some point you will be changing out modules. That is just part of the fun. I woul...

Re: uHe goes Eurorack?

Well, so far, Mode IV is my favorite.. mostly because I don’t have anything else in my rack that can do fun things with the stereo image easily. So, I’d be sad to see it go! Definitely having fun with the module in general though. It is quite a bit easier to use than it first looked to be.

Re: uHe goes Eurorack?

Urs, what would you say is the best way to get a single stereo pair out from CVilization when in the panning mode? Depends on what you're trying to accomplish. If you're using CVilization as a simple 4 in 2 stereo mixer, you could simply multi outs 1+3 and 2+4 together and then all pan/animations w...

Re: 2hp Lunchbox systems

I’ve been looking forward to the reveal for these for a while. It looks like, for the Picnic Basket, just the modules purchased by themselves would run $947 from 2hp’s shop. So.. given you also get power, a case, and some accessories, it seems like not an unreasonable price. I like the concept and t...

Maybe a MI Yarns? The mini versions would take trs I believe (I recall using a ... type B dongle I think) and have a lot of configuration options. Could be overkill though.

Re: Disapointing Modules

Related to this module, do I have a defective unit or does the damp parameter barely make an impact? I swear it makes no difference at all. Not sure when this happened, but I could have swore it worked at some point, but maybe my mind was playing tricks on me. I was just wondering this myself ... w...

Re: Synthcube

Got my Synthcube order today. It showed up a couple days early, according to the USPS. My compulsive tracking number lookup kept showing it awaiting pickup. =) So, Synthcube see...
