Re: New Case. Power issues on shut down? [input appreciated]

My new EP-420 is exhibiting the same behavior, and I just sent PM an email to ask them about it before coming here. Has anyone with the issue discovered that procedurally 1 by 1 trying all modules in the case yields discovery that it is caused by a particular module? (I feel like I spent a couple of...

Re: triatt quadratt alternatives?

Wow, big surge for the MIA -- will take another look at it. Out of curiosity -- are the left side LEDs on the MIA representative of the sum of the incoming A and B signals (and the right the sum of the out)?

Re: triatt quadratt alternatives?

Awesome, thanks for all the suggestions! I think, though the Xaoc Devices modules are highly attractive to me, MI Blinds or the Frap Tools 321 are going to be the candidates, actually leaning more toward Blinds. :yay:

triatt quadratt alternatives?

Ok, so I really just wanted to avoid having a "what is the best ____" thread, but that is basically what this is. :D I recently moved and am moving over to a pittsburgh modular case and potentially selling my Intellijel performance case (I don't travel or play out with the modular, and I currently h...

When is it out? We will ship some to the shops in the next few days. First batch is small but there is another run already in production so there should be enough for everyone without any long delays. Hopefully next time you are able to incorporate something like arturia link system onto the case. ...

Beap video

Hey, so I started playing around a little with video synthesis in MAX/BEAP. It has some cool features, but I can't seem to get the Recordr module to output video to disk. Am I misunderstanding the concept, or is there some restriction on running Beap within Max4Live that doesn't allow for sending vi...

Still, the field kit might be the best bang for your buck in this regard. I believe it does SW, AM, FM as well as some of the other fun stuff it does... seriously considering getting it and ditching the portable am/fm radio I've been using :P

Does anyone have any opinions on µRings? Considering picking up a Rings, and checking out µRings, but not sure if it's interface design (which seems really cramped) is worth the HP savings... also curious if the tiny knobs are functional/smooth to use... unless Tiptop makes a dedicated 'elevator' for the Mantis, it's the best and easiest option. Or are there better ideas? I went ahead and picked one up from Juno since they’re cheaper now (price plus shipping slightly cheaper than on the Erica Synths site). @intafon, listening to that recording and based on your description of not hearing it on your monitoring headphones, I wonder if the problem could be entering in as part of the Zoom's recording process. If you're using your phone that could be source of interference also. I have pretty limited desktop space so I had my phone sitting on top of my audio interface and was noticing a lot of clicks and pops. It took me a little while to realize it was caused by the phone. I would make sure you don't ha...

Thanks @chromakey and @jorg, definitely some things to think about. The rather large power supply for the Samson is underneath the Samson, so I might try moving that out and try to reorganize my desk to isolate things a bit (although tough with space at a premium). I thinking of also trying some dif...
