Re: ALM Squid Salmple - 8 channel CV and audio sampler
FYI, i have been using Adobe Audition (I believe it began as Cool Edit Pro a long, long time ago) to create cue sets and it is super easy. You can use the open append feature and it automatically inserts the markers at the beginning of each sample. I can make 8 cue sets from organized samples in jus...

Re: VCOs with unison detune?
Shapeshifter will do a unison detune in chord mode. And you can obviously just detune the two oscillators manually.

Re: New MakeNoise module: Mimeophon
Not exactly sure how to measure this but one thing I found that might be interesting is when I plug any other module into my Mordax Data, the voltage level on the input reads .01v. This includes my other delays. When I plug in the output from the Mimeophon which everything turned down and no input ...

Re: New MakeNoise module: Mimeophon
I’ve also noticed a pretty high noise floor. I hear it even when the dry wet and repeats knobs are turned all the way down. I’ve also tried it in an empty Make Noise Skiff just to make sure it wasn’t some kind of interference caused by another module.

Re: Weird Maths / Mult retrigger issue
I’ve had a similar problem in the past. It wasn’t with Maths though. I forgot what module it was happening with. Maybe Metropolis. It is definitely specific to the Intellijel buffered mult though. I just don’t use it for multing gates and instead use my passive mults or stackcables.

Re: Euclidean Circles users, what do you pair it with?
Generally I've got it set up in coalition with a Wogglebug, a Tesseract Buffered 8x8, and a Little Nerd (two when I can afford one). Wogglebug drives the clock and provides all sorts of clocked alternaive signals for triggers and CV, the little nerd as a clock pulse modifier, an the 8x8 to quickly ...

Re: Make Noise 0-Ctrl
I’m curious what other modules have the same behavior that the 0-Coast does as far as responding to dynamic/variable gates on the gate input itself. It should work nicely with Maths (or other function generators based on slew) for ASR envelopes. Yea, that's what I was kind of thinking. Should be ve...

Re: Make Noise 0-Ctrl
I'm a little confused about the Strength output. It's a little odd that till now no one knew the 0-Coast gate input responded to different trigger amplitudes, but it seems clear in retrospect that it was designed for this specific use. But if you weren't using the 0-Coast, would the strength output...

Re: Make Noise 0-Ctrl
I'm considering getting rid of my Verbos Voltage Multistage in favor of this. Seems like there is quite a bit of crossover between the two and they both take inspiration from the Buchla 248. What do you think? Dumb move? The 0-Ctrl is more like the Buchla 218e on steroids. It’s a touch activated se...

I worked further on my modified firmware for Stages. Now both slower LFOs and harmonic oscillator are togglable at runtime. Also, there are two new "modes", one that enables harmonic ratios sequencing via external CV, and one that transforms the module into six identical DAHDSR envelope generators ...

Do you just need more channels? The natural gate is quite versatile and can do all kinds of different lpg sounds. I still like and use my lxd when my natural gate is tied up if that’s what you mean.
