Re: Your unusual approach to modular!

I like in modular the modulations but also the ability to been able to build new electro acoustic interfaces. For example a percussion synth machine. With the peak & hold I can play melodies with a Conga on my patches. If I hit hard the melody goes up or down depending on the algo you use on the pea...

Re: Pingable/percussive filter comparison

Since I happen to have three of the most “pingable” filter modules in my rack, I thought it would be interesting to attempt a comparison. Re: Do high end mixers matter?

I've been asking myself the same question, not only high end Mixers but above average Mixers. My conclusion is that I need to test these things, so my idea was to shout out in my aera if someone has a mixer I would like to try out and voila, I found someone that is willing to show me his Allen & Hea...

Re: Novation Circuit Rhythm Sampler

I must say this idea that all samplers must be purpose-built with drum beats in mind is tiresome. That said, I'm no fan of the sampler as a "record your synth sound, then ditch the synth" paradigm either. I'd like to see samplers with operating systems that easily allow one to set up multi-sample "...

Using here Antimatter to throw the Delay Feedback into Soundstage from Worng. It does the job very well.

I havent been able to tune my metasonix osc. The Bastl can't do a lot here you would need a hz to volt converter.

Re: Definitive "how to multitrack record your Eurorack"

Just buy a RME UFX. RME is well known for super frivers, supporting their products more than 10 years and really nice sounding clean converters. Working with Eurorack and RME is a joy because you will hear the difference. Wiht the software I can use different routing templates for different usercase...

I don't know why but doepfer Oscs are always so powerful. Simple waveforms wit a little bit of analog colourful saturation and I'm more happy. Never had the same feeling with an analog synth out there...

Re: Which modules to start for a guitar modular system?

I would have a look into the Peak & Hold from Cg products. Definetly a very handy kind of a envelope follower. Actually designed for percussion (with a pickup) so you could even experiment with an acoustic guitar but also go directly in with a electric guitar (it has a build in amplifier). The built...

There are 3 technologies that replaced ADAT as new standards for multichannel audio: AVB, MADI and Dante. https://www.presonus.com/learn/technical-articles/an-introduction-to-avb-networking https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MADI https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dante_(networking) Another, Ravenna/AES67 - ...

I'm a bit in the same boat at the moment.
I have a RME and a Es-3 but only used it yet for cv.
But I don't get it right what other options do you have beside from adat. Adat has been around for a while, is there something else (newer?)

Re: Xaoc Devices Sarajewo: Syncable Analog Delay Line SHIPPING NOW!

Not who you asked, but right now I'm patching some drums into the Sarajewo and then taking each tap out into their own channel of the Instruo Tanh for feedback limiting and then into a mixer with some pan automation, I then run this mix into the Katowice and play with the various bands in the Katow...

Re: RME Question anyone expanded with an Adat Mixer?

I can't help with that specific hardware but the RME software is capable of all the stuff you mentioned. I use an old Ramsa DA7 and a Digiface USB. It has fader layers so I have the mixer's analog inputs 1-16 going into the computer over ADAT to record and then on a second layer 17-32 stuff coming ...

RME Question anyone expanded with an Adat Mixer?

Hey all I'm still considering an analog mixer for my setup and I have been researching endless. I want the flexibility of EQs and send effects. I want to record synths and Eurorack and also play back Stems from Ableton Live. I have an RME 802 which I love and I'm starting to enjoy the Total Mix Soft...

Oh hell yeah!!!

I'm back in for the updates xDDDDD
Updates? I now saved a lot of money for not having to go to my psychologist since I unsubscribed from those weekly essays.
