i'm fucking drunk now so i'm gonna go to bed. and you are all very welcome to argue if i'm trying to "rack up posts" to sell shit here of if this is conspirace perpetrated by the nsa to fuck you all somehow. or if i'm just disappointyed with my "highly regarded module" aka the erbeverb. i'll be back...

That's quite a bit of a numbers run you just did, intentionally or not. Just so you know, if you post something in the BST you'll likely get toasted. It really seems this rule is rather arbitrarily enforced. I've certainly seen more flagrant numbers run (a post every minute or two) glossed over cit...

I don't think end of chain effects make a lot of sense in modular, and I am glad that EV is not that. One of the problems you might be having is that it doesn't respond IMMEDIATELY to changes because there is a lot going on feedback and speed and predelay wise. If you just set it for wild and try t...

I largely agree with you OP (and you might be surprised how many others will agree), but I don't feel as upset about it. I too was not expecting a typical reverb and was still left disappointed by the palette I was getting out of it. However, if I didn't hold myself to such a strict hp diet, I woul...

I sort of agree with the OP. I do like the Erbe Verb as a kind of plate style reverb that melds well with the source. It doesn't do rooms and halls very well. In fact most eurorack reverbs do not meld well with the source and forget it when it comes to room and hall reverbs. It's actually very diff...

I didn't like it when it as much when I thought of it as a do-all reverb as when I thought of it as a feedback network (which is well described in Tom Erbe's paper about the Erbe-Verb, good stuff). But tbh it sounds like you just don't know the controls very well :hihi : i know it does, but i think...

is there a certain ‰ i should aim for? my highscore is about 3,0‰ (redbull powered) but it was not very beneficial to be honest.

we all like different stuff. thats the way the world works. i'm just one guy, having one single opinion. so for me it means a lot and for everybody else its means significantly less i suppose.

erbeverb. what i really think.

I know everybody fucking loves the erbeverb, i dont however. Why?? well to actually dial in any kind of realistic sounding reverb it takes about 10 minutes. And even then when finished, i actually think the builtin reverb of my a&h zed 12fx sounds better! it actually sounds like a "hall" or "arena" ...

i have oscs in groups (lower left corner) filters in groups (upper left), lfos down next to the oscs. also mixers next to oscs. vcas and envs up right corner. in my drum rack i have seqs/timing on the bottom row. then I try to group modules next to eachother that will be hooked up together. like env...

i dont own this moduile and i'm not a potential customer but will try to answer anyway. the accent input i think expect a higher gate or another gate signal, to make the module output sound louder. you could probably feed a regular sequencer cv pitch into this. just program some steps as high notes/...

also i forgot to mention; for sheer playability the tri-ger is extremly far ahead of the rook. and there is many things that makes its better. the buttons are better. much better. but still not cherry switches if you know what i mean. and for this kinda money maybe they should use cherry red or clea...

intuitive?? look at the wogglebug. lol. no matter how long you look at it it does not make any sense at all. i think its my most confusing module by a factor of 10 or so. i dont know but maybe that is what makes it good. its like a puzzle.
