Re: Building my Moog Preset Box *clone*...

Re: $99 Behremin anyone?

I was intrigued by the Moog Claravox, which led me to this video. Grégoire Blanc is incredible here. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZVue-QsxuzA I have never listened to any theremin music, and I'm fully aware that the Behringer is not even in the same ballpark as the Moog, and Grégoire Blanc has ma...

is that an espresso machine, in front of the modular keyboard?

Re: Post pics of your 5U format setup!

thanks!

I am in a similar situation: multiple cabs that need power. I want to use an external box to feed them

unfortunately life keeps interrupting my 5U plans

Present system. 2U empty spaces, that´ll probably be filled with a M564.

does each cab have it's own power supply?

Re: Trying to get Emo's trademark sounds on Modular Moog..

if you mounted that thing sideways & upright, like in the pic, you could have live control over the preset sliders too

kind of like the old Yamaha organs & CS80

Re: Trying to get Emo's trademark sounds on Modular Moog..

... ~ahem~ .. :hmm: :hihi: 8-) ah, yes I know you are working on a "normalized" modular system but I wasn't sure how Moog's "concert in the park" NYC preset system worked. potentially tied into their circuitboard connectors all at the back? I guess you would need external CV connectors for all func...

Re: Trying to get Emo's trademark sounds on Modular Moog..

Yes, know exactly how the preset box worked. I've managed to get hold of Emo's old service manual..! ;) Don't think I'll be building one though... all the modules would need extensive modification...! ah, interesting! I suppose that explains why no one has attempted a 5U modular preset system. Prob...

Re: Trying to get Emo's trademark sounds on Modular Moog..

that was great!

was just listening to "brain salad surgery" yesterday, and "Tarkus" has been in regular rotation too

have you ever figured out how his original preset switches worked? they were from the original "jazz in the park" hardware, weren't they?

Re: The "WIll my mixer explode?" No Input Mixing Thread

I had an old 4-6 channel tube PA head I was using as a gtr head into a cab; it was 12ax7s into a pair of 6v6 power tubes for 18 watts or so. I had it cranked up a friend plugged his pedalboard in which had some fuzz/overdrives and really goosed the signal the amp lost a lot of volume and never reall...

Re: Torn between the Moog Matriarch and Grandmother
