Re: Klavis Twin Waves

The features of this module is looking perfect to finish off my first case. I have a few modules with menus. Is this easy to use or a bit menu divey? Also does it have state recall between power ups? If so I'm sold. I hate menu diving, and I have to say that Twin Waves is quite easy to use ...

Re: Announcing ALM017 - Pamela's NEW Workout

After using this module for an hour, what was I thinking not getting this sooner. Clock and run outputs from the din sync midi cable works perfectly from the A4. The module is already clocking my Kermit mk3 and batumi flawlessly. It's been so much fun sending gates with different divisions and...

Re: Announcing ALM017 - Pamela's NEW Workout

It it possibly to set gate outputs synced to a 16 step sequencer?

For example I sequence my VCO with the cv track on A4. Could I configure one gate output from Pam's to fire off a gate to FM input on VCO to be in sync with a particular step on my sequence. Meaning the gate only fires every 15th step?

Finally getting Pamela's New Workout with the Din sync adapter cable for my A4. Cannot wait! Works great ! I use it with a Digitakt (DT > PNW > Marbles), all is starting together when I hit the DT play button :tu: Perfect! Exactly what I needed to hear. Its coming tomorrow. :hyper: Gonna use to clo...

Re: Why is it hard to let go of one Complex Osc for another one when they are all basically awesome?

I agree. I also want a HD mk3 to compliment my PH mk3. But every complex oscillator I've looked up looks like the real deal. I feel like I need all of them. But then the cost and case size stops me.

Anyway of having both the Verbos and HD?

Re: Kermit mk III - coming soon

Still getting used to this module but loving it so far. It's the first time I'm using sample and hold. I'm trying to do a sample rate reducer whereby I plug oscillator A from PH into CV jack and a square wave from oscillator B into 1v/Oct input as a trigger. From my understanding you get a down samp...

Re: Announcing ALM017 - Pamela's NEW Workout

I currently have a Kermit mk3 and Batumi for sync'd modulations. Would Pam's be overkill? I know it has a lot of triggering possibilities like probabilities, skipping etc. But I have a Digitakt with cv.ocd to provide triggers to my rig if needed. Also, how is it as a envelope generator? I love it a...

Re: Erica Synths Fusion VCO V2

This thing sounds beefy. I had the Erica Synths bassline, which had similar features such as the sub oscillator and the detune. However it lacked good cv control. I had been eyeing this as a replacement but damn it draws alot of power. Also, I'm guessing its like other fusion modules, whereby the po...

Row Power 40 is showing as discontinued on the 4ms site. Any details of its replacement, the Row Power 45, available?
I was looking to get another row power 40. Wasn't aware a row power 45 was in the works. Any news on this?

Re: Piston Honda MKIII dual morphing wavetable oscillator

also, your batumi LFO is bipolar. so when it goes below 0V the honda wraps around back to bank 8 (I believe this is documented behavior). if you want a bipolar LFO to shift the table between 1 & 4, you would want to offset the axis control slider to sit at 3 in addition to using the CV input attenu...

Re: Piston Honda MKIII dual morphing wavetable oscillator

I'm not sure if there is an issue with my x, y and z wave bank attenuverters. Say I'm on wave 1 for x, y and z banks. I add a square wave lfo from my batumi to the CV input for x bank and I turn the attenuverter clockwise. I would expect the wave to go between wave bank 1 and 2 but when I turn it up...

I've never noticed instability of the sort you mention, lordymosh. Always sounds the same on powering up.
Hmmm that's a bit worrying. There might be an issue with my Belgrad so. Might try some more trouble shooting.

Loving the Belgrad. Very versatile. Does anyone find it's not so stable? For instance I have a digital vco running through it. Filter near self oscillation. LFO into fm jack. How good is this module at creating FM bass patches? None of my current modules/synths can do this effectively. Thinking in terms of nasty FM bass lines from EBM/techno genres.

Re: Piston Honda MKIII dual morphing wavetable oscillator

new firmware 1.7 is up, along with kermit mk3 update. now we can cv modulate fm amount. :hyper: Sorry for the silly question. So essentially, instead of say running say OSC B into a VCA (modulated by cv) and then into the FM input of OSC A, you can now use one OSC to modulate the amount of FM of th...

To do this, start up the module and patch a stable, accurate clock ...
