Hey: How important is it to match transisor-pairs in this day and age? I've found that tolerances are usually quite close in trannies if you get a reel of them. What are some of the symptoms of not so well-matched transistors?

My Orgone DIY's A, B, and C "effect enable" LEDs don't light up anymore. The buttons function fine and flash upon boot-up, but they don't indicate the FX enable status. The main thing is to use your ears. Concentrate on the content! A crap tune will always be crap. The basics? Keep the individual channels low and make sure the master mix isn't clipping. Reporting back after the declick changes: I couldn't notice much of a difference (thankfully). My favorite effect, delay at high-feedback, seemed a little less wild, but it might just be my settings and/or imagination.

Don't do it, man! The A4's oscs do have something "going on," but do they really sound "bad" to you?
