Re: Only R*S Carnivore + reverb VIDEOS

This is very welcome, as there are were virtually no demos of solely the Carnivore module previously. Please post more, everyone! Thank you for sharing!! Question: in the second track, what are you using to get that tabla ish string tone? Basically the sound that starts the track. Oh dear, I hope I...

Re: First Serge module

Here's my set up https://www.modulargrid.net/e/racks/view/451984 And yes, I have only Euro but will probably buy any new serge in 4u so it makes sense to post here right.. As you can see from my rig, I have a serious lack of filters. If I'm going to start slow, I'll go for something like the VCFQ or...

Lots of info in the DIY section, including a 45 page build thread

Re: First Serge module

If you want to dig into the really classic paperface-era Serge stuff, there's also Zthee's 73-75.com panels, but that's a whole different world, and doesn't use the 1v/oct standard like the newer Serge stuff does. I had a look at the HomeBuilt panels. Seems a very reasonable price for both panel/pc...

Re: First Serge module

Thanks for all the detailed descriptions so far. Serge modules are not always obvious to fathom so it's a big help. The dusg does seem to have some overlap with maths so id probably avoid at first if I'm staying in euroland. On the other hand, if I jump to 4u then the carnivore looks really interest...

First Serge module

Hi, I'm very tempted to dip my toe in the Serge pool and was hoping to get some guidance on where to start. I currently have 9U of eurorack with a few of the usual suspects in there like Maths, Clouds, Braids and some Metasonix too etc. I think I'll stay in the euro format for now, but eventually I ...

I was also put of by the cuckoo demo. He seems to overcook that one a bit making it more complicated than it is.
There are better demos out there. Very tempted.

I'm also interested in this. I'd like to be able to build the empress echo system pedal from the Zoia. I'm hoping that would be possible..

I've just bought Maths for the Morphagene and clouds and I'm loving it. A tempi or Pams and a wogglebug might be useful too.

What about Octocontroller? It looks like it could do some of what tempi and stages/batumi could do in less HP. Anyone used it with morphagene?

I really enjoy turing machine with the morphagene - it’s fun to feed random cv into the organize or slide inputs, then when you get something you like you can lock the sequence on the Turing. I use the music thing one, but since space is an issue you could check out the 2hp TM, which is essentially...

I was going to suggest the Wogglebug but it's better for more random effects. The random pulses for glitchy triggers and the woggle output into the varispeed input for some fun record scratching type sounds. I find myself using MI: Stages a lot with my Morphagene. A versatile source of CVs whether ...

I use ADDAC301 Floor Control a lot with a foot switch to trigger record and go through splices and a expression pedal for slide, gene size, etc. I see you have Frames. That’s my favorite predictability-wise because you can save a bunch of frames that sound good to you and move through them however ...

Morphagene companions?

Hi I'm thinking of putting together a 60hp lunchbox case so that I can really focus in on certain modules away from my bigger case. I get an hour for lunch so it's a good time to learn some of the nuances of all the modules I've been neglecting. First on my list is the Morphagene. I'm guilty of not ...

That's interesting. Good price too. Do you just use the regular audio recording for this?
