I have been delivering Pendulum/Ratchets this year at a, let's just say "deliberate" pace. There are still a few available right now, but they probably won't be available again for many months after these are gone.

Lyonel, nice customization, but that screw is not the only problem with putting them in the end position. Different cabinets present different problems, too.

So sorry to have been so out of touch. I have run out of parts for a couple modules, and one module is such a PITA to build (or priced too low or something) that I have stopped building them. I have been delivering Pendulum/Ratchets this year at a constant, but slow pace. If I owe anyone something p...

I get the pots in quantity from a pot broker in China. They don't have a brand, per se. As I mention on the project page, I can sell you the pots. The knobs are from Selco, but they have a largish minimum order. I'm running low now, and can't spare any. You might want to take a look at this pag...

Sorry. I have an email reply half written. The specific heat shrink is not critical. It just needs to be small enough to stay in place when shrunk. As I mention, it needs to be .75" when shrunk. Here is a Mouser search for shrink that has a .75" recovered diameter: http://www.mouser.com/Wire-Cable/W...

The 250e has really sloppy pulses. The 250e could really use a comparator mod to clean up its pulses. Not quite as good is just applying some gain to the 250e pulses.

For instance "sequencer that can sequence 8 steps for every parameter of the filter". What does that mean? Think of it as an 8-step sequencer, with many rows of knobs and switches. There are 3 rows (frequency, resonance & amplitude) for each of three filters, so that's 9 rows right there. You can s...

I'm still on a death-march towards code-freeze at my day job. I have a batch of ModuleModule chassis available, but not a lot else right now. I'm working through the back orders, albeit slowly. Sorry for the ongoing delay. I'm looking forward to having more time to dedicate to Eardrill very soon. I'...

Way ahead of you. I have roughly 20 that are just waiting for final inspection, test, and the polarizing key.

Eardrill (Slight Return)

A status update. For about a year now, I've had a non-music related consulting job that has taken up an ever-increasing amount of my time. It started out as a manageable one day a week, but escalated over the year, until it was all I had time for. The product I've been working on, Nest Protect,...

The real world strikes again. I have a consulting gig that started out as one day a week, back at the beginning of the year. As the project comes to a close this has escalated to daily project meetings and a world of "we need this last week." There is a code freeze date in early September, so things...

As it stands right now, you can only drive the Ratchet input with an external clock. This controls the fixed dividers and the div a& b sections, and optionally the Tock output, if the "Tock in Ratchet" preference is set. If I ever get around to finishing the MIDI expander, the main Pendulum clock wi...

Yes, clock phase and all ratchet dividers reset on sync. With the latest firmware, div a & div b optionally reset, too. I know this sort of thing is out of style, but there's a brief manual available: http://www.eardrill.com/modules/PendulumRatchet/images/Pendulum_manual.pdf There's a header on the ...

Plus, way back in January, I booked a vacation for the end of May / beginning of June, thinking that I would be all caught up w Eardrill, and my consulting gig should be quiescent. Ha!

At least I got some good pictures:

Sorry I've been hard to get ahold of. My main consulting gig (a.k.a. day job) has been in crisis mode, so it's been hard to find enough time to deal with Eardrill properly. Any earlier delivery time estimates have gotten, lets say, a little optimistic. I have a window this week where I'm trying to c...

If you need to reach break-even selling just 10-25 pieces of a design like this, the R&D and tooling are going to have to be recouped across that number of units.
