There are typically FOUR main ways to use the SP-4DP module....

Here is a link to the two owners manuals -
Manual for the assembled unit.
Manual for the Kit version
Thank you James for the detailed response! I’ll send you an email via your website to order the DIY kit.

Re: Pulp Logic Utility 1u's

Would you recommend a MI Blinds over the Mia? I suppose they both cover pretty much same features Hmm... good question. I have both, and I wouldn't choose one over the other, as although there maybe some overlap, they're different beasts. I guess the best way of thinking Blinds (voltage controller ...

Great guys! Thank you ! Mia was in my attention anyways, so I might consider it ! Is it easy to find? Is it still manufacturing?
I got mine from Analogue Haven, not too long ago, but looks like they’re out of stock. Might want to drop them a line. Also Happy Nerding sells direct I believe.

Re: Pulp Logic Utility 1u's

I agree with the sentiment on tiles expressed here. When building my case, I specifically built it with two 1U rows just for simple utilities. It’s a perfect place to park mults, simple attenuators, attenuverters, logic modules, S&H, etc. where you don’t need the extra features of 3U counterparts. T...

Re: Pulp Logic Utility 1u's

I have both Happy Nerding MIA and PulpLogic Att-Off and I can say with confidence they use the same concentric dual knob. So in a sense you could think of MIA to be the cascading-mixing-mingling-attenuverting-offsetting big brother to Att-Vert for example. I also have the PulpLogic multi and some of...

There will more than likely be a preordering option available yes! Will have more details when it's time for that (ie not until all of the ducks are very much in a row).
Excellent! Preordering will definitely be a welcome option.

Glad to hear things are progressing nicely.

Will there be a preorder when it is a thing or will there be a mad dash when it becomes a thing?

Questions on Synthwerks SP-4DP

These are perhaps a questions for James Husted, aka ersatzplanet. I could've sent a PM, but figured these might be useful for others as well who are looking for controller type modules... So, trying to understand how the outputs on Synthwerks SP-4DP work in relation to the faders... For outputs with...

Get one of these and control lots of CV ins at the same time. Doing opposites if you want to also. Or CV one while simultaneously adding a modulation to another with the same slider.

Re: ACL Sinfonion

I've got a music theory noob question here regarding the intervals on Sinfonion and Doepfer Quantizer. Background: after trying O&C, Ladik, and ADDAC quantizers, I finally got the Doepfer and fell in love. Since I don't know music theory, the Doepfer made a lot more sense with how I think about tun...

Re: Finally began my case build... (with pics)

Hey, awesome build! Can you tell us more about the backflow protection? This is the first time I’ve come across this for a modular synth application of linear supplies.. Sure. It's basically a reverse biased diode connected across the power terminals. It is described on Acopian's website along with...

That’s awesome!

What nuts or inserts did you use with the TS60 rails? I have been unable to find fitting M3 ones.
I am using M2.5 nuts from PulpLogic and M2.5 Befaco Knurlies.

Another option might be Joranalogue Transmit 2 if you’re looking for something clean rather than transformer coloration.

I really wish...

I really wish that Erica Fusion VCA2 had CV for feedback. Twisting the knob manually creates some really cool almost notch filtery type sweeps.

Love this thing. Calling it a “VCA” almost does it injustice. To me it’s more of a timbral shaping/morphing module than a VCA :sb:

Re: Decision paralysis: ER-101/102 vs USTA vs Vector

Well, ER-101/102 is officially out as Orthogonal devices can’t ship out to here due to COVID-19 lockdown, and seeing ridiculous prices on Reverb fetching 1.5 to almost twice the price of new from manufacturer... no thanks. So, that leaves Vector and USTA. I’ll pull the trigger most likely on USTA on...

Re: the DIY cases thread!

Thank you so much for the pictures and explanation! I`m thinking about switching my 5A dual output Bell Power PSU`s with Acopians, since they`re emitting transformer hum and heat excessively. I haven`t decided yet which route to go, there`s still room for improvement with my DIY cases. My pleasure!...
