Re: New FX modules from Tiptop Audio - ZVERB ECHOZ Z5000

Just started to play around the ZVERB and ECHOZ. I would never have noticed that the output is lower if I didn't know it – works fine in a patch. Plus it actually distorts nicely when overloading the input.

Re: Mungo Enterprises d0, dual channel Delay

Can someone explain, what tracking an audio frequency with a Delay allows you to do, how that sounds? I can't really imagine... It is for Karplus Strong-synthesis – when the delay times become short enough, you stop perceiving them as individual events but as pitched sounds. Put an oscillator signa...

Sure, the VB can do something like that. Set the length of all tracks to 1. You can also select a scale for each track. Use the 16 save/recall locations as presets. Or simply don't have a clock input and select a step with the buttons. Or you could switch it to CV and patch a voltage offset into CV ...

No, its internal clock does not have swing. But if you feed it a swinging clock as external clock, it will swing :goo:

I've had the SWT16+ for a few months but I'm not a super heavy user. But I'll try to help the best I can. I always use it in external mode so it gets a clock from elsewhere. Do you as well or do you use its internal clock? When I switch patterns (from the eight white buttons) it changes immediately ...

I've had a SWT16+ for a few months and I really like it. I got it to support my Trigger Riot with more controlled patterns. Having 16 outs is a real luxury, I use 8 outs in "trigger mode" for drums and such and 8 outs in "gate mode" so you can tie gates together for controlling switches and so on. S...

Anyone have experience with contacting Rossum? I haven't heard back a week later. Not crazy long, but I'm wondering if this is normal or if I should send another message. I tried to reach them a few months ago through the contact form on their website. Have not heard a word, not even an auto-reply....

Aaaaaaaa, I see. Modulation is fixed. But there is an offset value in the upper right corner for Pitch and such. Perfect, thanks for pointing it out :tu:

There are a few requests for Mode hold function including hold to view the encoder value without changing it. Yeah, that would also be useful. So Mr Pink’s original idea is probably better - to use the main encoder with the mode-button to change modes. Very cool that you still are considering devel...

I’ve read the manual a bunch of times but I just can’t get Zone selection to work. Any change I make in a particular zone – pitch, level, modulation input and so on – is mirrored across all zones. So when highlighting, for example, Zone 2’s sample name, the display shows Z2 in white. When I change L...

Re: I really like Trigger Riot, except...

The mode button switches the main encoder to be the mode selector. This way all control is on encoders, and no tiny buttons needed. You select mode with left hand and change values with right. It is much more comfortable and ergonomic. I think this is a great idea. I love the Trigger Riot to bits b...

I’ve only used the Assimil8or for a few days and really dig it so far. I was a bit worried beforehand that the workflow wouldn’t suit me, but it is totally fine. As long as the samples I’d consider to use are in the same folder, it is a breeze to preview (or prelisten rather) them before loading. I’...

You can do subtle phase shifting with your Maths. With a bit more control than running two LFOs at different speeds. Put a regular clock into Channel 1 TRIG and take the EOR (end of rise) out. Have FALL fully CCW. Adjust The RISE manually or with CV for delaying the clock. If you want the shifted cl...

Yes they can. They can divide the incoming clock down too. Although Robaux "warn" that since it is based on Arduino there is a delay of 1.3ms when using an external clock. Sounds fine with me though.

How do you guys go about when you want to browse through lots and lots of samples? A bit of b...

Here is some Trigger Riot funk, it is triggering everything on this track. The drum samples are from an AKAI S6000 through Ladik's Gate-to-MIDI interface, the base a simple sine through Intellijel's uFold and the pad is a E350 through FxDf/RxMx.
