Re: Behringer: practices, ethics, morals and legitimacy.
It seems pretty simple. You have people that are stoked for cheap gear. That’s fine. They feel good about it so they’re gonna defend beh so be it. Yay cheap gear the great inequality equalizer. Sure. I see the stuff put out by B and it’s all pretty boring. Maybe I’m old and jaded. It’s just that if ...

Re: Behringer: practices, ethics, morals and legitimacy.
————————————— I dunno Colb, all your ideas there are kinda stretching it.... “It’s a law so it’s ethically sound”. Really? “EMS wasn’t innovating because someone else invented the transistor?” Really? “Behringer applying crappy consumer business practice to the synth world is “innovative”. Really? “...

Re: Behringer: practices, ethics, morals and legitimacy.
So someone should change their whole business model (that works for them and presumably has for years) for you? So you can have more stuff? Ehhhh... No. “Allowing” this business practice??? Someone is actively ALLOWING robin to take his time and charge what he wants? What world do you live in? If y...

Re: the DIY cases thread!
You can buy side brackets that the rails screw into that have separate holes for mounting the whole thing into wood or other materials. I usually buy mine from Modular Synth Lab , but there are lots of people that make them. I usually buy from MSL because they typically carry black brackets, while ...

Re: Less gear - better focus?
To attack the actual subject line of the thread. Yes, obviously. Take it to the extreme-if all you had was one knob, you’d obviously be hyper focused on just that one thing. One synth, you’d become a great performer/user on that one synth. But both those scenarios are kinda unrealistic. It’s up to Y...
