Yes they have. Shortly after posting the thread, I was contacted by someone at BEMI.

Where do you guys buy spare Easel Program Cards?

I've checked authorized dealers, BEMI's site, e-fucking-bay... Nothing. I e-mailed BEMI about it... Nothing.

I know a special someone is selling repros of vintage cards, but I'm looking for a cheaper option at the moment. Anything?

For anyone building one of these bad boys but didn't want to spend $200 on ua726 chips, it is possible to substitute them with two 2n3904's. As far as tracking goes, I have not yet calibrated as I am using it with analog sequencers, but I does work and sounds great. I repeat, ua726 are not mandator...

Can you tell us what else will be on the SSG 4x4? Very curious... - Tim Here's one design combining SSG and DUSG in 4" (the ui not necessarily final yet): http://randomsource.net/img/SSG_DTG_white_sm.png The other one is not so hard to guess when you think about the name of this project :-) This. I can vouch for Xpander, ALL of you will get what you ordered from him. A group order this size is a MASSIVE undertaking, even when you don't take into account the technical issues MW got over the past month. 2-3 years of wait time sounds a bit exaggerated to me. I was part of the group buys at that...

The Twin-T CMOS drum circuit have been circulating the internet for a while (BD, congas, clave, etc.). I've had good results replacing the 4011 for the 4069. Sounds great and you can use the rest of the 4069 for so much other stuff. Haven't tried the snare/cymbals circuit though.

Sold it because of the file transfer system. I have large sample banks I wanted to use on the MD, but files can only be transferred via MIDI, using an incredibly outdated method/software. Resampling the sounds is also not entirely user friendly. For my purposes, MPC is far better.

just make the TM5 Euro version please! ^ Yes, please!!! +2. If more than one unit could be linked it would eliminate the need for a complete mixer unit. Something to think about. If you guys really get desperate, I know it's not Metasonix, but it's all-tube and all-American: http://www.busbyelectro...

I got a full set of NOS, but will hold onto the original ones until I can test them (won't mind having spares). Checked for a difference in sound between GE's metal and Tung-Sol's glass 6sc7's, so far they are pretty damn close, but will investigate more later. I'll do my best to get a demo up to.

Update! The restoration was very successful. Works like a charm and overdrives as well as any 12AX7-based circuits. I fucking love this thing. Simple things become complex and buzzy. I strongly recommend them. https://www.muffwiggler.com/forum/userpix/3453_amp_1.jpg https://www.muffwiggler.com/forum...

:despair: I don't know. You seem to be after something specific. If the KV-100 worked for you, then buy it again. No amount too high to stop the search. Otherwise, take your chance with the f-1, maybe it's similar, maybe it's different, maybe it's better. Only you will know.

They're usually polite, but completely clueless. I'd welcome some rudeness at this point......at least it would be more entertaining.
As crappy as this seems, maybe it's time for an FAQ page? Or in Metasonix terms, a FAQ YOU page?
