Re: Pictures of your techno rig for inspiration?

dip, yes I really like the Erica Drum Sequencer. Unfortunately the accents don't work with non-erica modules, so I use regular triggers but it's a bit annoying. Good thing there are 16 of them. Other than that it's not at all buggy, there has been loads of fw updates and it's super stable. It's a j...

Re: Pictures of your techno rig for inspiration?

Here's mine : http://cdn.modulargrid.net/img/racks/modulargrid_1350499.jpg I also have a 4u with a rotating cast of modules that go in and out of the main case like the LIP, SY-05, Res EQ... It took my a while to find my way, I eventually realized I prefer a very hands on approach and am mostly unin...

Re: Noise Engineering Loquelic Iteritas

I also went from Li to LIP and find the big version clearly superior. It's much easier to reach the sweet spots with all the modulation options/attenuverters included and you are still left with over 20 patchpoints. Also the enveloppe is very very good. It's definitely one of my favorite voice/oscil...

I haven't updated this thread for ages it seems, but I'm still doing those, deep and dubby as ever, perfect for nursing an unwelcome hungover on a Sunday or simply explore galaxies from the firm basis of your sofa. Here are the last three episodes : https://www.mixcloud.com/PigalleParisRadio/ppr0841...

Negative Fascination - somber electronics radio show on Pigalle Paris Radio

Hi, @enlovoz (of synth-punk's Leroy Se Meurt fame) and I are starting a new radio show on Pigalle Paris Radio (also host of my ambient/dubby explorations as Canapé Cosmique ) called Negative Fascination. As the name suggest it's an ode to our shared love of somber electronics, early industrial music...

Re: MDLR Cases! worth it ?

I have a performance 12U 104hp w/ Konstant Lab PWR and never had any issues with plenty of fussy Verbos modules. The quality is very good, it closes patched easily. It's very heavy though and wouldn't be my choice if I had to carry it around constantly. It looks pretty good too !

Re: new modules from Verbos: Amp+Tone, Foundation Oscillator, NF

I have both and I prefer the CO. It's growly, it's bass heavy, it's flexible, it's great, there's not one setting that sounds bad. The FO is good, the shaped outputs sound great if you keep the modulation under control. It also sounds great when FM'ed and then you can get somewhere near the CO, but ...

Re: MasterEffect for Live Techno :)?

2hp hipass is always a good idea to cut the rumble and other unwanted frequencies. I mix inside the modular with the WMD PM so I try to shape/cut the sounds at the source with eq and filters, but I wanted something high quality to put on the master as well; I couldn't find a suitable stereo EQ in eu...

Re: Kick Lancet or kick module ?

The SSF Entity Bass is analogue. It's my most recent kick module and also the best I've ever had. I run it into the SSF Autodyne and I get really deep but super punchy kicks. it's versatile too. I've had Crater and the Erica but much prefer the SSF. BD08 is lovely as well. So is the SY-05, but iI co...
