Re: Hello Hordijk System

The normalisations your system has might depend to some extent on what the original owner asked Rob to make. I think some systems have been made with relatively many normalisations, but if you've been through this thread I presume you've seen the remarks about people subsequently wanting them taken...

Re: Hello Hordijk System

Recently took the plunge and joined the Hordijk club and received my second hand system the other day. Very excited and have done my best to read through this thread and watch the amazing masterclass videos posted on youtube and vimeo... I do have some newb questions that I hope folks don't mind me ...

Here is a little design that I made for a four panel system. This was the first run. Once I dial in my design I will start producing Serge end panels/cases in aluminum, wood and phenolic material.

I'm with you though, most of my recordings are meandering and largely static. may be boring for others but when I find a nice sound, I just let it ride :) most stuff i end up recording ends up between 8-20 min lo...

Re: FIVE12 Eurorack Vector Sequencer Teaser

anyone know if you can use this as a pseudo MIDI-CV converter? i.e. if I send in midi note/on-off info from an external midi device, can the five12 pass it through as CV/gate voltages?

recently made these solid cherry sides with reinforced cross bars (threaded inserts) for a fellow Serger located out on the west coast. would love to make some more for others if interested. could obv accommodate regular STS 17" panels as well wow. beautiful endcheekd, and amazing collection of mod...

Re: Serge 3 and 4 panel enclosure plans

would definitely be interested in going in a group buy. For whatever reason, this seems like a recurring "issue" for people getting into serge, myself included. I know that elby designs sells a nice looking 12U endcheek set, but its kind of expensive for plastic, and I've never actually seen it anyw...

Nice job! How was the Audio recorded? Thanks
modular out into an outboard soundcraft mixer. Then, stereoheadphone out from the mixer into a behringer USB audio interface connected to the laptop. Laptop recorded the video and audio at the same time.

Re: 4u Serge/Fritz Improv Drone

That was great! Do you mind sharing some patch details? Thanks. Patch is driven by TKB sequencing 4 voices after being run through Ornament and Crime set as a 4 channel quantizer. 2 voices are the 555VCO oscillators. 3rd voice is NTO. 4 voice is a combination of double dekka VCO and Teezer VCO on t...

Bugbrand Voice, DDSR, trippy vid

Not really a great sequence, but I've been trying to practice creating visuals to go with my modular stuff. This is a quick voice patch I set up with DDSR modulating the filters on the bugs 2 voice system. Sequencing duties by Monome Norns.

Re: molex to XLR adapter help

the documentation for the PSU comes from the PSU manufacturer. the documentation for the serge panel comes from the panel manufacturer. it would be very very bad if someone on this forum looked it up with google and assumed that what you have in your hands matches exactly what they found on the int...

molex to XLR adapter help

was wondering if someone could point me to some docs, or walk me through how I can DIY a 4 pin molex to XLR converter? I have a PSU which takes a 4 pin XLR male cable, and an incoming Serge panel with a 4 pin male molex connector. Thanks!

Re: Seems a good time to share Serge patching ideas! Lets learn!

First thing which comes in mind is the PULSE DIVIDER can be used for audio. 1 audio signal at the input and at the output you'll get the different divided frequencies (you get of course a rectangle wave at the output). I found a wonderful very clear and high definition video I did which shows very ...

A littlehelp for people trying to understand Digital shift registers: For rhythms/triggers (digital section) The main concept is DIGITAL. This means binary:no or yes, 0 or 1, 0V or 10v, gate off or gate on. Every clock pulse, it checks the data input or push button to see if there is a signal there...
