How to make this rhythmic croaking sound?

The persistent clicky croak thing in this - anyone synthesised something close?

Looks like the Bastl Hendrikson and Xaoc Sewastopol are the closest to what I'm after, cheers for the tips!

Does anyone have good examples of the drive on offer on each one? Found a few videos but not much focusing on the preamps breaking up. Thanks x

Characterful I/O modules

Hiya, I'm looking for a way to integrate my line-level 1/4" gear with euro, and hopefully pick up a bit of extra saturation/something along the way.

Currently looking at the Vermona TwinOut which looks great, wondering what else I might be missing though. Cheers!

Ah I meant for instance to slew the falling edge of the trigger to get a longer ping for instance, wasn't sure if it was possible

aha, cheers. so what's the difference relative to putting a trigger straight into the signal input? In general when 'pinging' other modules, do people generally send the trigger pulse into the audio input or a frequency CV input? Have tried both but generally don't get as good results as with the tr...

Serge VCFQ trig in question...

Possibly dumb question...

What is the trig-in connected to? The frequency CV of the filter or something else?

Thanks in advance :)

Heya :) sorry, should have added more info my bad! I've got a system that's mainly euro serge, so would like 3.5 mm jacks a la the upcoming random source TKB. Was wondering if there was something that approximated its functionality but was a bit nicer than getting multiple pressure points and brains...

Affordable equivalent of Serge TKB?

Are there any decent sequencers with similar functionality to the serge tkb at a more affordable price point? cheers!

Nice, sounds great! From what I've read it can act as a resonant filter or LPG, but not both at once. Is it resonant here? Thanks again for the info

Really nice, what's giving the sort of gurgling modulation to the tone? Some low-ish audio rate modulation of the VCFQ frequency?

Bought a korg SQ1 to pair with the DFAM, thinking to extend the sequencer length to 16 steps. However, when I patched in the SQ1 CV out to the velocity input on the DFAM I was surprised that it sounded very different from the DFAMs native sequencer, even experimenting with different CV voltage range...

Octone fans - does the close clustering of those tiny knobs not drive you insane? It looks like a pain to anything apart from set and forget.

VCFQ, res EQ and DPO rhythm jam

Quick snippet just recorded.

Turing machine sequencing VCFQ in 'pinging' mode, DPO running into the VCFQ input. Output of the VCFQ going through the Serge Res EQ:

Colundi with a disting?

Been trying to enter the colundi scale into my disting (quantiser mode) using Scala, but can't seem to get it to spit out sensible frequencies. I think the issue may be is that Scala isn't optimised for scales with non-identical intervals between different octaves (i.e 5 notes between C0 and C1, the...
