Re: Ignorant Serge power wiring questions

Hello there,

maybe this bit of info helps. My friend utilizes two of those in his large Serge system. Also, I've talked with the manufacturer who confirmed that those boards are compatible with Serge systems.

Hello, wanted to ask if anyone is expetiencing digital noise after each sound/sample played (after each preset/sample). Some sounds are less noisy some more. I’m talking about low volume noise. It can be clearly heard when you turn down the filter to minimum. Also, I have it in very clean Roland ski...

Hi,

I've got my custom Mdlr pwr bus board which KonstantLab guys created for me with stronger voltage 12V/4A. Works like a charm. Cool thing is that it has very low noise levels (compared to two other power sources which I have from other manufacturers).

Final verdict? One happy customer ;)

If you're asking for value / money then I would say Pico DSP. Those 2 reverbs sound good and price is pretty low.

This is quite standard design in more models right? As for example pico vca behaves the same if I'm not wrong.

I had similar thoughts at the beginning. But after I started using it I'm glad that it hasn't much control. It sounds awesome like it is, and everything works as you would expect. Not that I enjoy being negative, but this seems like a missed opportunity. Why make something modular with no CV control...

I'm digging the distortion on the chorus module (Feedback modules from Romania). Divkid has it on one of his videos.

Even when you don't use any type of modular synth this gives good advice about how to create kicks. It always helps when you know the roots and build on them.

Yes, that's the only solution which I found so far. However, you don't want that happening during live / recording. Hello everyone, From time to time my voltage freezes. Hello everyone,

From time to time my voltage freezes. It acts as it isn't receiving any trigger / clock (in clk mode). I've tried to put in different clocks / triggers from other modules. However, nothing helps except of full reboot of my system. Have you experienced the same issue?
