Re: Korg Arp 2600 Arrival Date
I'm hoping its still this month, but to be honest, knowing my position in the queue was more important as I really don't mind a wait as long as I get one! Yeah, my retailer says mid-late April at earliest, musicians friend seemed to say similar... but with COVID19 slowdown, i'm guessing July or lat...

Re: Korg Arp 2600 Arrival Date
the korg ship dates got pushed back a month or two because of coronavirus supply chain issues in Japan/China.

For both modules: I can't understand the point of having audio I/O in the center. That's bad design. I'd agree, move the I/O section to the far right on both these modules.. it throws off the nice symmetry but it'll be a lot better when patched. because those signal inputs will always be patched an...

CS80 owner thoughts: It looks like they chose to use the recently re-issued Curtis CEM3340 oscillators as their VCO, and then elected to reintroduce the waveshaper defects (the 30 usec ramp, etc.) after the fact. Interesting. Compare this to http://www.cs80.com/vco.html and the CS80 service manual,...

I agree, I want to see a Syrinx and Fenix again. Those are really nice sounding instruments. This keyboard is incredible though. I want one. That was my vote, a 3 octave version a la syrinx, and an 88 key standalone keyboard. I don't see how they got this sensitive keyboard to actually work though....

This is actually the most useful of the mutables to have in a buchla rig, I am not really comfortable with the panel layout, but Sascha already knows that. :hihi: The 20C is something I really look forward to. Very yummy. Whats wrong with the clouds layout? Seems great. How far off would cloudz in ...

From the video. Q: Is your intention to develop the keyboard or to develop the synthesizer or to develop both? A: Actually I think.. we will do both. [He talks about doing a weighted 88 key standalone keyboard cont..] A: We could also do a simple synthesizer keyboard.. this is way too complicated fo...

Definite interest. Rings is crucial, and your panel is gorgeous. Aesthetic feedback? I think you are overusing the caps italics, and could use lowercase on the lower half.. your font might be just a tad too tall or light? Also regarding layout, the mutabl faceplate lines up the attenuators with the ...

is it possible to access borrowed chords in chord mode? Or accessing the common bVII bVI in major while in live/chord setup, or pulling something from parallel modes? How does pyramid handle 3/4 6/8, and triplet based time signatures now? Are there any videos, instructions or tutorials online that s...

Hi, the Cornwall Synthi VCS has been trickling out for a bit now. I wanted to ask people what they felt about the mods they'd gotten, now that they've had time with them. What's essential? What turned out to be useless? What do you wish you had gotten done instead? Do you dislike anything? I'm wonde...
