Re: Behringer 2600
As oft happens in threads, the question of which B2500 modules to add has morphed in the replies to become which modules to add. Those are two entirely different questions. 1047 -or some other state-variable multimode- is definitely the highest and first answer for both. ---------------------------...

Re: Behringer 2600
Not true appart from digital osc, but who cares, VCA, you have the mixer in the end that can be used as another vca (manual control)...you can ise as well the switch... 1) the voltage processor can be used to create a high pass, the lag can be used as a low pass..guess what you do eith both??? 2) w...

Re: Behringer 2600
I thought about some 2500 modules but am not sure that they wouldn't be redundant in sound to the 2600? Has anyone heard both (original or clones) and can comment? yep, this is a key question...I want to know too I would get these: 1. A good multi-mode LP/BP/HP 12dB per octave filter, to compliment...

Re: Behringer 2600
Just tried mine and i don't hear any drop in reverb when leveling the faders And you are using both the right and left outputs, but with both channels panned to center (mono) in the receiving device (i.e. mixer, etc.), not with the two outputs panned left & right? Nothing wrong with the reverb, I c...

Had good fun with the patchs I enjoyed with my ild 2600 using the preamp/envelop follower with a guitar to open the filter with the sequential clock and 2 vco coming turn by turn. The S/H keeps the beauty of the original and Behringer di...

Re: Behringer VCS3
Wish they would offer it in a different shape, eurorack combatible, like the neutron, i don't have the space for that big wooden case. I kind of disagree. I owned an original one in the last century and the interface is really part if the experience, not just the pin matrix. And the experience invo...

Re: Claravox theremin
As an ex-theremin owner I'll just say that if you want to go beyond random noodlings you'll need to invest a very substantial amount of time and effort. Keyboard skills count for nothing here. I'd put it on par with learning the violin. I completelly suscribe to what you say, but this forum is not ...

Re: Behringer VCS3
VCS3 for cheap, people complain. Rhey ll only realise it is a fun synth but only a holly grail because nobody ever mass produced this fucker... Never really liked the pin matrix, although the idea is fantastic,...In terms of fun, I find the 2600 more interesting. Though I liked the synthi for droney...

Re: KORG miniKORG 700FS
I was hoping at some point Korg might reissue the polysix and mono/poly but I find myself surprisingly tempted by this. This synth is hard to find in good shape for a good price. I've seen them here and there for around 600-800 but there is usually something wrong with them or switches broken off e...

Re: Behringer 2600
Like the previous comments above being 85% there, compared to what exactly? I think that might have been me? I said - Ill have to wait for Sonicstate to review it - if the grey is even 85% of the way there I think Im in (as with the VCS3). Im hoping Sonicstate do a comparison with an OG or a Korg o...

Re: Behringer 2600
I'm definitely going for the Korg version rather than one of these but dang is that blue enticing. Reminds me of that Bowie song "Sound + Vision", "blue, blue, electric blue..." I'm not paying 2-3 times the price for the Korg version...especially for a mini thing. The Behringer clones are excellent...

Re: KORG miniKORG 700FS
We are in full analog fetishism mode here ... :fap: :fap: They're nice synths effectively, pleasant filter... when you can get a used one for cheap... Korg is obviously short of inspiration and scrubbing the bottom of the drawers to find something exciting...so let's make a special version of some s...

Re: EMS like behavior in Euro
What you're missing is a Synthi is much more than the sum of its parts and attempting to "emulate the exotic textures/ sounds and controls" or even only get anything close to its sound, behaviour and interface with any assembly of eurorack modules is a pointless waste of time, money and energy. Man...

Re: EMS like behavior in Euro
I would like to build out a rack to fit a Halliburton case with two rows of 84 HP. I am fascinated by EMS. While I do not want to replicate exactly an EMS Synthi I would like to emulate the exotic textures/ sounds and controls. Pictured is a mockup of my idea of a Synthi like rack using mostly Doep...

Ribbon or ring controller for precise tempered music
Hi guys, Please let me know if already discussed 50 times, but I'm searching for either a CV or midi ribbon controller or ring controller to control my synths. I want a controller that can be aligned to a keyboard so I can play some Back or Messiaen lines as an Ondes Martenot or a Cello with Glissan...
