Re: Which modules instantly hooked you with their workflow? Best intuitive and good UX modules?

I’ve always appreciated the Brainseed’s workflow. It just seems to integrate cv and gates in so many interesting ways... in minimal space.

Re: live coding visuals with javascript

Can you load libraries with this animation system? There’s some great easing animations, in greensock, etc, which could add some smoothing to the animations. I’m not really sure what platform you’re planning this on, but i can imagine making controllable objects, with timing/shape sliders, as envelo...

Re: Gate delay devices - why so few and unavailable?

Peaks, in alternate lfo mode is also a gate delay, with physical controls for both delay amount and gate length, among other things.

The 2 hp burst is great, but has no clocking. You can, however, attenuate it's gate length and number of repeats, to get very specific results.

Re: Erogenous Tones - STRUCTURE

https://vimeo.com/382703944 Here's a nasty vid i whipped up, using mostly still, freebie stock images and pilfered clips. I have tons more, but just edited this together quickly, in the last few days. Still the biggest challenge seems to be recording out and rezzing up, but also, what's up with vim...

Another one for the Structure. I can’t turn it on without my jaw hitting the ground. It is the video synth i’ve dreamt of. Also, the continuous updates don’t hurt.

I recently buckled and grabbed this thing, with resolution output being my only real concern. Sure there are composite to HDMI, (and vice versa), but at best that will just emphasize the low resolution, (I think it’s 720x480i), which is common with up rezzing. However, I can get HD recordings, from ...

Not really a modulator, but more of a distribution for them; i’m gonna say the JAG. In my system, it hooks up to no less the 4 filters, and at least 6 other, mod inputs. I feed it from a thru zero mixer, a joystick, and a vilfo influence by a retriggerable vulcan modulator. It keeps things controlla...

You can do that, easily, with the quantimator; one cv out per oscillator, mod source and gate, respectively, into the as...

Right off the (nick) bat; they are arranged wrong. You should have your two synth voices on the top, followed by the modulators, and the dfam on the bottom. Then i would reconsider the maths; its great, but if you’re only using a single channel, (as shown in this example), then why not sell it out f...

Unless the mother32 or morphogene can do this already, you might wanna look for some kinda of amp that can pull up volumes to line level, that way you can integrate non-modular sound sources.

I have both, and while they share a granular, and quite a few other features, (ie. Pitch shifting, clockable, cv control over start and length points), they really couldn't be more different. Clouds is more like a micro looper, (with reverb/filter/etc), but with granular behaviour, and the granules ...

The arachnid legs are/were very cool, since they seem to allow you to add angles to the different segments. I really liked the extendable power through the end pieces idea, suggested.

Digital modules that dont recall their last state, on shutdown; sometimes you want to work on a patch for days, obviously with a few power downs, in the interim. Ultimately, i’m including buffered sampling, sequences, et all. This also goes into patch saving; i’m sure one day, eurorack will have an ...

Although it's 18hp, the Modcan Quade envelope has some amazing features, (ie. 6 stages, saving settings, including attenuverted modulation amounts of all controls, individual curves, and polyphonic mode). The whole normalized gating is super handy as well.
