Re: Westlicht PER|FORMER Sequencer (DIY)
CV's are recorded as a note track. So there's up to 64 steps of your incoming CV. Curve tracks are actually steps of predefined "shapes", you can't "draw" on a curve track at the max PPQ.

Re: OXI ONE - Powerful and expressive sequencer for DAW, MIDI gear and Modular rigs
TBH, the -3 to 5V doesn't bother me. I have a small Eurorack and all 3 oscillators are different standards of 0-10. -5 to +5 etc (since there isn't a standard). I have wee 1u attenuverters/offsets to align CV's as I wish. I'd expect most Euro'rs to have similar.

Re: OXI ONE - Powerful and expressive sequencer for DAW, MIDI gear and Modular rigs
I feel that there are many other ergonomic factors to be considered, that are controlled by the user (such as desk height, body positioning, placement angle, session length, movement breaks etc), that impact on a users experience far more than the 'handedness' variable noted above. Yeah you're righ...

Re: OXI ONE - Powerful and expressive sequencer for DAW, MIDI gear and Modular rigs
I'd like to comment on the handedness. As a right handed person I'd find the majority of button pressing over on the left, crossing the body. Pyramid was like this too. Any reasoning behind this decision?

Re: Ideal 1u placement?
My home built 7U has the 1U row in the middle. It's pulplogic format (as that also fits Intellijel albiet with a wee gap). My only 1U tiles so far are att/off and an NLC sloth. The att/off is perfectly placed as I use it to translate between the a sequencer in the bottom row -5+5 on the way to a VCO...

What "standard" are you using for VCO CV? 0-12v or -5+5 ?

Re: Sonic Potions LXR issue - noise when connecting trigger/clock i/o
Ground loops also are determined by which wall socket the items are plugged into. Is the LXR on a different socket from your computer or speakers? If so, try plugging them on the same strip plug and see if the hum disappears.

Re: Sonic Potions LXR issue - noise when connecting trigger/clock i/o
Ground loop.
Edit: Just to expand. I have a ground loop in my "studio" but didn't have it with my LXR. Therefore it's probably another piece of gear not behaving.

Re: Westlicht Preformer midi out
Actually, I made a mistake. Korg is Type A and Circuit are Type B. You want Type A cables which are now the Midi standard. So the opposite of that ebay one.

You want a TRRS splitter. Little dongle cable that splitsd out teh stereo out (from phone) and provides a mono in on a separate jack.

Re: Westlicht Preformer midi out
For note out you leave a track on the standard note track then go to the MIDIOUT page (Page+T4). There you set the "target" to the channel you want (either Midi or USB 1-16) and then set the event to "Note". For clock and transport start/stop you go to the "Clock" page. (Page+TEMP), scroll down and ...
