A 73-75 Serge Homebuilt built by @elmegil with the elby colors for the jacks A Sans-amp for bringing the old guitar in and a Mk1 Double Knot to do the percussion duties.
Woah, good job. That turned out sweet. :tu: Props on the 'nanafied SQ-1 :nana: . Some questions for you on the case. - Did you provide the laser place with some plan? - I'm assuming those black left and right bits are for keeping the rails together. - Are those rails from blacet? - What kind of powe...
If you can find one the Yamaha V-50 has velocity and aftertouch and a nice keybed. I don't have it in front of me but I'm pretty sure it has an inputs for mod, volume and sustain. Nice 4op FM ala TX81Z, a sequencer, and microtunings too.
I have a small Yamaha MG82CX. Just barely enough to combine Eurorack, TTSH, couple-two-tree other FM synths, and an old Yamaha D1500 Delay. Probably will out grow it soon. Planning on upgrading to a decent audio interface (likely a used MOTU 828 firewire) and a bigger mixer, maybe another Yammy, how...
Is there a place I can see elby modules in action, the official website is from 2000 (no judgement). Yes, Doug Lynner did some official videos explaining the Euro Serge Elby Modules. Saving up to make some of these kits. The videos are awesome! :bananaguitar: Oops forgot link: https://www.youtube.c...
Not sure if it's what OP is looking for, but I have had great results with the MIDI Guitar 2 . It's $99 USD but well worth it for my purposes (controlling hardware and software synths, etc). It allows you to take your audio input, the guitar input in my case, and it converts it to MIDI you can eithe...
I would be lost without a decent external mixer. I have a small Yamaha MG82CX. I can run effects into it, standalone synths, plus modular systems and the odd guitar. I have it connected to some decent powered monitors. Only trouble is I find I'm outgrowing this one. May need to upgrade to a mixer wi...
Yamaha D-1500 Digital Delay. As used by Robin Guthrie on the later Cocteau Twins albums. It has a nice stepped/pixellated quality to it. One of Yamaha's first delays with midi control. They come pretty cheap on eBay.
Hi Wigglers, After reviewing some small size set ups on this forum and attending Knobcon last week I decided to order a PulpLogic Deluxe Lunchbox and some 1u modules. My goal is to put together a small system that would be a traditional synth voice (VCO x2, ADSR, VCA, VCF, Mixer), but maybe mix in s...
