Yes, It's an extremely versatile filter with all of the different modes from the multi out. It can be bread and butter, but it can also have plenty of character as well. I also have the doepfer wasp filter and I like for the price. They are very different and I recommend both. Perfect, exactly what...

Intellijel posted something on their instagram back in October with a video screen shot of a Polaris demo they were editing and it seems like this never got released. I don't have that many filters in my rack, but the Polaris is definitely my go to filter. I'd love to see this demo at some point. I...

A Seriously Tiny Rack (a 55 HP starter system)

After seeing a build inside of an ammo can on a Eurorack FB page, I was inspired. I have a 50 Cal can just laying around at my house. Since I know I will need to move incredibly slowly at first, I thought using it as a case and planning a small synthvoice inside it would be the best way for me to ac...

I'm in the same boat, expanding my music across the board really, but I've been listening to a bit of metal... The new Black Tusk that came out this year is pretty killer. Also, a buddy of mine runs a label that specializes in heavy/experimental music, mostly of the metal variety. Lots of good/inter...

I really love that the Euro world is such that an artist can just come up with an idea and pitch it and then it gets built. I also really like how they describe the process they were previously using and how it informed the module.

Might be overkill for what you need, but the Twisted-Electrons Octopus is an 8 way multiplexer that can have its channels modulated or manually controlled by a pot.

I have actually only owned three, and of those, only one remains a favorite. Although, several times in college a girl I was seeing snuck me down into the basement of the music department when she was there late. Down there, they had the other two... Juno 60 - The best synth I ever owned. I still th...

I saw this yesterday when I was trying to find someone locally who was selling the H&A Zed6 mixers! I just noticed that they (Pro Sound) sold synth gear at all a few weeks ago when I was on the 77.

Btw, new Wiggler in Chicago here!
