The Serge shirt was made (with the approval of Serge himself)
and sold by a fellow named Seth Nemec from Austin TX USA.
Seth had a company that manufactured Frac Rack modules which
included a couple of Serge's designs.

Here is a photo of me and a couple of friends at AHMW 2016.
We have the Serge on the floor hippie style, the way it was
meant to be.

I agree with the original poster. I have a two-up QKB37 setup and love it. I have a set of wheels (CV) that interface well with the Q174/Q175 Midi to CV converter pair. The action is exactly like my Voyager's (not surprising since they are basically the same keyboard). https://www.muffwiggler.com/fo...

Sadly they don't have them at the moment (out of stock).
But I will check with them just before I do the purchase.

Thanks for the data point.
Can you put anything on top of it (i.e. is it big enough
for some pedals and the like)?
Also, where did you buy yours?

Question about buying a Mellotron m4000d mini keyboard

I'm about to pull the trigger on the purchase of a Mellotron M4000D Mini keyboard. The question is, from where should I order it? I live near Chicago IL USA, if that makes a difference. The current contenders are Big City Music (out in LA) or Vintage King (they have stores in Detroit, LA and elsewhe...

While I have been involved with synthesizers for quite some time now (first touched a modular as an undergraduate in around 1971), I took private piano lessons when I was very young, then played the sax a bit in grade school, organ in high school, took up the clarinet while in the later part of my g...

I've been using a PreSonus AudioBox 22VSL. It works just
fine (I'm on 10.12.4 macOS Sierra). I haven't had any problems with it at all.

If the time/place/date winds up being convenient, although I don't build much of anything anymore, meeting some Serge enthusiasts would be interesting. While I have no DIY Serge items in my collection, I do have nine STS Serge panels that comprise my system. It's rather portable (3 SKB mixer cases, ...

Oops, I stand corrected. On a more careful read
there is multiply capabilities (I missed this) as well. So
divide, multiply, and provide a pulse source with various
features (like random pulses).

Haven't wrapped my head around it completely but it looks awesome! It's a pulse divide/multiplier, yes? The only thing I don't like is the 5ms trig length. IMO, that's too long and should be 1ms (or less?). The four outputs are pretty cool, too. Should be great for sequencer work. :tu: :sb: ...

Looks pretty cool! Seems like he's been taking cues from the eurorack community lately looking at this and the LFO++: smaller controls, denser layouts and multiple integrated functions. I think you are right (w.r.t. the cues from the Euro world), but, while I love the LFO++ and the specs for this n...

Yes, it looks beautiful. I really like the realtime CV record feature. Not many recent sequencers do that, and none in 5U that I know of. It's the one feature of the Roland MC-4 that I miss since I sold it. Realtime CV record with time quantization is extremely handy. It's like step recording but yo...

For two of these I've specified pieces of music by composers and not specific recordings. I suppose I can look up the specific recordings but I don't really thing that matters. Since this was under the 5U umbrella I didn't mention that I have two Serge Resonant fixed filter banks in my Serge system that I also often use. I do have a tendency in that system to use them with faders since I can pull outputs from the even and odd sets and from the two of them. This allows them...

I just picked one up used and put it in my new 11U case, therefore I've been using/experimenting-with it a lot recently. It's very nice for subtle timbral tweaking. I think it will probably be used in a lot of future patches actually. Here is a photo of it newly mounted and not yet patched up: https...
