Hi all, Just a quick couple of tips for anyone having trouble with a Braids build. I built my pcb and flashed the firmware using an ST-Link adapter and the ST-Link utility running on W7. Everything looked fine and I could navigate through the waveforms on the display but I was getting no audio out. ...

Old crow is well known around here and the sdiy community in general. He is definitely a reputable guy. You could maybe post in the synth tech diy section of this forum, he has threads there for a few of his diy projects.
Hope that helps.

mVestle - Poultice

New release by a project I'm involved in on Fallowfield records called mVestle. We are based in Ireland and play a mixture of noise and drone type sounds. This release has a mixture of modular, keyboards, field recordings and guitars. The website contains all of the tracks cut up and re-arranged in ...

Yep, had a similar problem, wrong power supply was plugged in. I traced the problem to a blowm schmidtt trigger, looks like a black smd resistor, and one of the i'c's. I'll check exactly what was involved later but it was essentially part of the power in circuit that was damaged. To desolder these, ...

Only having the two lowpassgates in the 208r is sometimes very limiting. Just looking at that flopsequencer panel. You could easily fit a thomas white lpg clone on the top part of that. Not sure if you are into sdiy but might be a cheap option to consider. As soon as I saw the bemi eurorack adapter...

A dual Mirror core with some other useful stuff in Serge format would be excellent :) It's pretty deep in most configurations though, so who knows.... :) I don't object to folks posting their panels; it's particularly helpful to hear that the CA panel is available, though I don't think that's curre...

Since the thread is getting spammed, I might as well add to the spammage . Here is a serge style panel I built a few years ago. It has an NLC two neurons and double jerkoff, 1/2 258J, 266 SOU(self eched using vtl5c3's layout), 2x CLee lpg's and 1/2 291 to top it off. It is super fun, Buchla in Serge...

Help finding replacement OLED display

Ok this is a bit OT but some of you may be able to help me out. A friend asked me to find a replacement screen for a controller he uses in his car. The controller uses an OLED display, see pictures. The part number on it is 00130-MF1-B. It uses a flat 24 pin connector. I found one on a chinese websi...

Agreed. The clones discussion is a good one( I build lots of them myself) but has nothing to do with Don v BEMI.

As mentioned earlier, only one side of the argument has been presented thus far.

You can supposedly get some functions similar to the 296 programming by sending 10 individual outs from a 295 into the mixer then use the mixer outs into a 292 and cv the 292 with a sequncer or other cv source. I haven't tried it yet but it sounds like a fun idea.

- Regarding the material to be etched, I'm torn between the ready-cut but anodized panels from Reichelt and the more expensive raw aluminium cuts from SchaefferAG. +1 for solder braid. I never use a sucker. I usually have to use a bit more heat than I would use for soldering in.
