Re: Small synth with keyboard
Dominion is nice. There's a Moog Rogue around for 900...maybe that's a good idea? I don't know how soft Rogue can be.

Small synth with keyboard
Hi folks, I'm looking for a small synth with the size of around 60 cm in width to fill the gap on my Jaspers. Preferably with a small 2-3 octave keyboard, more lush, mabye roladish sounding. I have a P8, DX11, Nord Rack, MonoMachine, Logan LE (and a bag full of modular) so I'm looking for something ...

Re: Thomann / the sssnake stackcable clones
Good to know. I have to order another bag of sssnake XLR patch cables so I will add a handful of these. Those TTA are crazy expensive rip-off style and that's basically why I never purchased any modules from them.

Is it actually still possible to do fake facebook profiles? I'm off this drug since a few years.

At least someone is going to buy the company in the end. I mean for the most sought after synthesizer modules since a decade there is a future. We'll see...

Have fun with it...I'm loving mine. Frankly I don't see why I would change the floppy on an EPS.

Re: Does anyone make a decent analog console anymore?
The question is what are the features you want and how important the thing with character or cleanness is. I have a Soundcraft Series Two 40ch which has a lot of features but somehow sounds sterile compared the the SR424 from A&H which is more noisy.

Re: Hardware Sequencer to Replace my BeatStep pro.
Dude I just made my first use of the MPC One as a MIDI hub. It is really fast and has CV out too. Usually I use a Cirklon but for simple tasks this MPC is very nice and fast.

Re: What new booty did you buy?
20210207_113626.jpg I found a noisy beast for 80$. It might has an issue with the panorama of a channel or two. I had a 16 input one of them for a while, couldn't find a cheap PSU so used a bench supply with an extra 12V output and it worked OK despite the lower voltage. They are a bit too long and...

Re: Bread and Butter Analog Oscillators in 2020
ADDAC 701.2 is pretty inexpensive for a high-end manufactory and with 60mA not so heavy on power consumption. Yep, my pick too when it comes to basic VCOs. Lin FM, hard and soft sync, PWM, waveform mixer, octave switch, etc. In such a tiny space and with good size knobs. Nice deal. I just made a ve...

Re: What new booty did you buy?
...the Focusrite ISA and two XLR patchbays. Took that as a challenge to rewire the TRS patchbays and set the rest of the studio in a more practical way up. Still not over yet, power and MIDI has to be done now but at least the rack is ready, the audio and the mixer too. Lately I found out what a mon...

Re: Bread and Butter Analog Oscillators in 2020
ADDAC 701.2 is pretty inexpensive for a high-end manufactory and with 60mA not so heavy on power consumption. I now have these options in my rack: BLM TPC, Ladik VCO-2 and the one mentioned. All are great but I've leaning on the TPC the most, but now want to focus on one of them and get three of the...

I honestly don't think I'd hear a difference. For me it's more a tactile thing and to have reliable cables...but yeah I see you are in Paris so you have plenty of time to spend at home probably least until April...
