I've not used an envelope follower before, how exactly does it react to incoming signals? Doepfer site just says it makes a proportional voltage as an envelope... No clues to sensitivity, duration or anything... Is it just a rough shape of what's coming in with a little rounding at the ends? i'm no...

the doepfer 119, and other audio input modules, will amp up your acoustic sound and generate a gate signal form the incoming audio. plus it has a useful envelope follower too. i send the gate to my turing machine (other random modules would work here as well) giving random voltages to send on into t...

Has anyone tried changing out the timing capacitors (there are some tips on doepfers homepage), I've been considering it to get a bit snappier envelopes. Ideally I'd like to have it switchable per env, but it looks a bit too crowded... check this thread: https://www.muffwiggler.com/forum/viewtopic....

i'd add another envelope too, for reasons above and because of the dual VCA. maybe look for one with voltage control

yes, an active mult. will mean there is no loss in signal strength when splitting.

i'd give it a go with what you have and see what you think :tu:

Re: Midi to CV Question.

hello and welcome  Would something like Taking the CV and GT 1 from the MIDI to CV module on the Pittsburgh and patching that into the Pittsburgh Multiple give me extra 3 channels so that I can control the remaining two A110? yes :tu: i think the pitts. multple is passive though (?) so you mi...

i've had the doepfer 137-1 and the STG folder. both were cool but i preferred the STG, which has a great sound and also can be used as a VCA. it is a very deep module though so check if it will fit your case. if you're into a bit of diy the STG has a modular design so it would be possible to mount t...

i said transistor, should have said capacitor. http://www.doepfer.de/a1424.htm By changing the value of a capacitor the time range can be modified (e.g. 0.2 ms ... 0.2 seconds or 20 ms ... 20 seconds) how do i do this? do i need a new "capacitor"? yes. you replace the capacitor. bigger values will ...
