Re: Audiothingies Doctor A vs OTO BAM/BIM

I recently got a Bam - the previous owner had put a little sticker on the from with the algorithm numbers. Very useful This is the only thing I have trouble with, it's not bad to just use my ears, but for some reason I have trouble remember the algorithms. Everything else is fairly intuitive to me ...

Re: Looking for unusal machines, like Folktek Resonant Garden

I’m guessing you’re not looking for strictly electroacoustic? In that case - Soma Lyra? Anything Ciat Lonbarde or Lorre Mill? Once you’re looking for something like the Erica drone, why not just a small euro or 4u rig? I reckon you’d be quite happy with a single Serge row if the Erica strikes your ...

I've had the odd Mobenthey module - definitely enjoyed them but imagine they'd work even better as a set or combination of them. They sound and behave awesome and raw!

Bugbrand stereo compressor sounds great and is very hands on
Definitely got my eye on this, but they are out of stock everywhere and can't find any used units
Keep your eyes out if interested, seen a few for sale recently. Think they're still occasionally produced

Re: LPG sounds / demos?

Don't know if you've heard the old one but the main difference is the 2 CV inputs on this new version compared to the 292 or whatever. The strike input with variable knob controlled envelope decay is brilliant and very handy for percussion or basslines etc. Must pick up another!

Re: A somewhat selfish list of things I'd like to see Tom make

Loving the touch pads on the newer joystick touch Tom, somehow seem a bit more responsive than the old CTL 1 ones (but I don't have one any longer to compare)

Holding out hope for a new touch controller (with the built in sequencer again?) - even better with switch and slew modules to complement!

He probably doesn't want to spend 500 Euros (that seems a pretty high price!!) Funny how some folks will cheerfully cough up $5600 for an STS Soup Kitchen panel, but 500 euro for a power supply and cabinet is "a pretty high price"....just sayin'....... Can't imagine many people paying $5600 for a s...

Re: Sequencers for D-1000 or D-2000

Intellijel steppy works really well with the D1000, apart from being slightly fiddly - variable gate length, 4 channels, up to 64 steps. But needs a clock so not so good for the D2000 I guess (I use clock out from D1000)

I'd love a multi gate to variable trigger module, being a filter and LPG pinging fan would be insanely useful!
